this whole discussion of the profanity filter is making me miss the good old days where all words were replaces with "[censored]" that was just so much more stylish than "****"

I agree. That was great. Plus when you wanted to type "lynch [censored]" you could shorthand it. I always typed the full thing out though. I think that may make me a prude.
