I would smash our thermostat with a hammer if I had my way, but often compromise at around 76. My house has terrible heating and cooling efficiency so I'm mostly just concerned for my wallet.

Actually, that sounds pretty nice. (22°/20°C). Lower than 20 at night is still okay. 22° is also a great outdoor temp.
