elon really has done amazing things with twitter lol

pretty much exceeded everyone's expectations

if you don't know pwns... filthy cliffs of elon's twitter

1 - elon is sued into buying twitter against his will cuz he got caught with another of his fos lies

2- he waltzes into twitter HQ carrying a bathroom sink

3- he tweets "comedy is now legal" and then he bans everyone from making fun of him which most of twitter is doing relentlessly

4- he fires half the workers. then tries to hire them back. then shoots off an email giving the remaining workers an ultimatum, and they promptly quit

He basically paid 44 billion dollars for the privilege of having millions of people dunk on him all day

Before this most recent fiasco I saw something that put the valuation of twitter at like 8 billion dollars which means he just comically overpaid

And he took out loans to pay for it

So like twitter was mostly stable but once Elon bought it now they have to make huge payments just to service their loans and it already wasn’t turning a profit

I’m still not entirely sure if this isn’t just some massive piece of performance art, just on a totally different scale than we are used to.

Definitely the biggest show on the internets.

lol I’m watching the local TV morning news and they just had four back to back stories about Elon Musk and his companies. Twitter, then SpaceX, then Elon and some lawsuits, then Tesla. Incredible.

It’s like a flashback to when it was all Trump all the time.

Trump’s Twitter account is back.

No tweets yet, seems like a great gambling opportunity to bet on when he cracks and does one.

Interesting that early in the poll Trump reinstatement was leading my a large margin and the gap closed a ton right towards the end.

Saw someone discussing this quote from Machiavelli, and I thought it was interesting give our recent discussion on the Romanovs:

Quote:
After a change of government, there must be a memorable punishment of those who are enemies of the present state of affairs. He who creates a tyranny and does not kill Brutus, and he who establishes a free state and does not kill the sons of Brutus, will not last long.

So now that the midterms are past and Biden has celebrated his 80th birthday, what do you suppose the people that pull the strings are going to do in order to push him aside before 2024?

I'm sure it's purely coincidental that CBS just decided that Hunter's laptop was legit.

But is that going to be enough? Seems like something more cromulent will be necessary to push him into retirement.

imo the bigger difficulty is keeping Kamala Harris from running in his stead

Do you think Biden even wants to run?

I know you can’t ever believe anything a politician says, but he is on record saying that he will be running.

That said it is a question better asked of Dr. Jill and Ron Klain.

I’m not sure that the even the entire array of Dem tricks plus complete Republican incompetence would get Kamala elected. She’s that bad.

Her best hope would be to repeat the Biden hide-in-basement strategy.

Unless Trump runs as an independent after losing the nomination to DeSantis or Haley or someone, in which case the dems could nominate literally anyone and win.
