I was going more for the fact that some people are incapable of raising a child no matter how smart the child. Like if you're mentally handicap or really low iq how will they possibly care for it.

hospitals already involve social services in instances triggering this concern

Present evidence that the church is not real, please. Your failure to believe that reality exists is not our problem. Otherwise, the entire thread (indeed, the entire world) devolves into a "nah, don't feel like that's right" miasma wherein one's feelings about life are the only thing that matter, and that's really really dumb, and I'd like to think that the rest of us can do better, even if you yourself are utterly incapable of it.
