Indeed. So there is something beyond the statements themselves which determines the "boolean value" of the statements. To me, this violates the spirit of this game, and certainly renders it non-enjoyable.

I also get that not everyone will feel that way.

Edit: the phrasing above is not as accurate as I wanted. Basically, if the value of the statement can change, then what's the point?

Usually when the game starts, the OP puts in the initial post

True of a, not of b
True of c, not of d
True of e, not of f

Here, he just made one statement. Then a separate post with one statement, then again.

So it's something with either the post # or perhaps based off the most prior true statement

I would add that it not fair as well..

A few people collated the "correct" responses into a single post. If any of those correct answers were no longer correct in a different context (like a different time, or post, etc), then we should have been advised that "correct" or "true" was a conditional construct.

The two posts by housenuts (amazing/phenomenal) seem to confirm that what is true or correct is in fact conditional.

AmazingErvin, if the true statements are/were only conditionally true, we really should have been told that. Otherwise it is a game within a game.

It would be nice to see this end and try a normal version of the game..

Exactly. That's why I put things the way I did, never commenting on fairness. I have no problem with whatever criteria are being used, but anything where it is possible to have the values of the statements change opens up far too many pseudorandom factors for the game to be enjoyable for me. Some people may really like that sort of thing, and this game is for them.
