Btw answer is :

columbus brought sugar cane around 1500 from Spain islands (canary) and the first harvest in the new world/Americas was in 1501. The first place was la Hispaniola now known as the island where Haiti and Dominican Republic reside. Years later Portuguese brought to Brazil and the rest is history. Brazil is now the number one producer in the world.

Extra points if someone knows why Brazil became a better powerhouse other than the obvious size of the land. Or in better words why Hispaniola couldn't keep producing like Brazil?

Other than North America the world has 6 continents.
Africa, Europe, Asia, Americas, Antarctica and Australia.

Elitist in United States decided to separate the "superior north" away from the inferior and poorer south. Panama Canal helped separate the continent btw

Where I had my superior education (Europe) they teach Americas is a continent cuz to them you all suck.
