So I was playing GH2 some more trying to FC ****ing sweet child of mine while missing the hard part of the song another 30 times, while distracted about thinking about this game.

For a while back when I used to play a lack of posting by me was just a sign I didn't really care about the game. But that didn't really feel right for this game. When I signed up I decided I wouldn't join unless I cared, but I still am not really posting much.

Then I came to the conclusion that my thought process this game more closely relates to my absolute very first few long games. I really didn't have anything to say because I was lost. It wasn't until Average Speed 4 I finally decided I had a hand on people and was able to speak out on reads. Of course by then it was out of character for me and I was quickly lynched. So it goes.

The point here is I really had to get to know the people before I had anything to say, and quite frankly I don't know any of you. Nope I don't even think I know dmk. Even though I suspect he is in the exact same boat as me right now.

I was really only good at two reads, detecting changes from someone from one game to the next, and putting together the big picture at the very end. Thus not playing for a while makes me completely useless on the first read, and it seems too early for read 2.

So the question is how do I become useful? The answer is to put more faith, in reads I have no faith in. As such I have grabbed a beer, put on Who's Next and will read through this thread now, because I am not sure when I will next have a chance to. I have absolutely no plans to be around for EOD on Monday or Sunday, which kind of sucks in terms of this game. I will go under the assumption Smaug is wolf since he has given the classic quick little "I'm really a wolf, but I am going to pretend I wasn't peeked just for show" argument.

Alright the only seer cover I left was peeking atak n0. I meant to leave something day 1 but didn't, which could also be construed as me peeking McAvoy.

Alright read through. I want some answers of my own before I give what I think.

i would say there is almost no chance bsball didnt leave peeks so anyone not wanting to lynch bb today will have to point me to what they think was the n1 peek.

let me substantiate my vote:

first and foremost, i do not believe that smog is the wolf peek for a fact
i find it very wolfy on chuckles/elliot/wahoo's part that they are clearly overlooking evidence that challenges their votes

if you look at bsball's posts:
there are three possible wolf peeks:

wahoo

myself

and mr smog

however, i have seen no discussion on myself or wahoo being the possible peek and instead, people cherry-picking posts and voting

keeping this in mind, look at this sequence:

wahoo's audience is the village saying "we should prob lynch the wolf peek"
and again insinuating the wolf peek is obvious

wolf comfortable with the situation

emphasis on smog is the wolf peek
condescending at the end

again, comfortable with going with the general consensus without mention of the other possibilities

but notice the word choice, she says 'goes back into the wolf cave'
which means that her read had changed before making the post
that would be a read, not a peek

the argument oti had was:
"bsball was treating smog like a wolf the entire day"

this is true, however, if you put in perspective of: what if birdman was still alive and not lynched? and bsball died that night, we would be voting out birdman because of her constant reference to him

parroting soah, this was a double standard, [i was the easiest prey because soah was after me, however its risky as well]

when i was a wagon in northern expedition, all he did was act obsessive and constantly referred to me and my wolfiness

i cross-reference wahoo's posts from this game to last game and he is doing the same thing. when smog is rebuting the case on him, he says: "good try, i like when people fight" which makes me think of his post in northern expedition where he said "good to know i was right" which is condescending and shows him being comfortable. wahoo is constantly obsessing over smog being lynched which is more of a wolf with an agenda

looking back, i think i need to explain why i think acting comfortable is relevant to why someone is a wolf

if we mislynch today, it is must-lynch next time
people acting lackadaisical and not even trying to reassess what's happened so far in the game are either stupid or wolves

The whole "I can never read you", "are you a wolf" when you voted me - you see once you voted me he became uncertain about my role.

you never responded to bsball questions - looks like he was trying to leave something inconspicuous - and of course you never answered because at this point you knew you were peeked amiright? I mean you know bsball all too well.
