With my next pick, I'm going to draft a man that may be the actual greatest actor of all time. His incredible ability combined with Scorsese's ability to make smart, interesting films will create an unstoppable tandem

Humphrey Bogart

I don't mind Danny doing every Burton movie for my studio. He's already done all but 2 of Burton's movies so far anyway. I'd LOVE to have Elfman for non-Burton talent at my studios, but I can't take a chance that he'd be taken and all of my Burton movies would be damaged without Elfman's music to set the tone.
Spew and spew :P
Wait if this is one pick it's clearly not right to get both imo

To avoid slippery slope, I'll drop elfman
Ok cool, I'm also not picking him in forever and I think you should pick him up around round 20ish or if another scorer goes first
Now that we have this out here though I think yeah Cohen Brothers is fine and there's one other pair that I can think off were the wife wrote a couple of screenplays but only for her husband. Stuff like that is fine imo

Round 2, Pick 22

Will Smith

I was really tempted to go with a 2nd director/writer/producer type here, but I decided against that and went for a male lead and Will Smith is perfect imo. He has it all, talent, versatility and popularity.
Proof of his talent are his two Academy Award best actor nominations. He is able to play in all kind of movies including comedies (Fresh Prince (I know this isn't a movie, but you get the point), Men in Black, Hitch), action (Bad Boys, Independence Day, Hancock) and dramas (The Pursuit of Happyness, Seven Pounds).
But more importantly to justify him going in the 2nd round is his insane popularity and massive pull. People love him, in 2007 Newsweek called him the most powerful actor on the planet and there must be a reason why he gets $20 million or more for his movies.
Oh and he is also known for being a singer and can perform the title song for his own movie if it fits, how awesome is that?

Derwipok Entertainment
James Cameron
Will Smith

Might not score well with the voters though but yeah it was between Grant and Lean for my second pick so great pick

Haha I thought you'd pick him. He's as good as they come with regards to draw/money making etc. has good range and can carry movies alone, nothing wrong with the pick imo. I was thinking you'd either go him or unnamed director

If kokiri is not asleep yet we could have another pick run

Bogart is a good pick btw, I had him in a category with Grant as the two best older times actors

Also lean is a great pick. Lawrence, River Kwai, and Zhivago is one of the sickest runs of all time

I think he's English which technically could be counted as European I guess.
