A great band can have a mediocre album, and an amazing album can come from a so-so band.

And I will judge an artist on a whole career, not just the album(s) that qualify them for the category.

In other words, go for it.

I'd say it's very similar. It doesn't break the game or anything, but if you have a different option that is good, I'd probably rather see that.

I'm going with Comedy Acts. Any act consisting of two or more comics in any medium, TV, Movies, Stage, Radio etc. but excluding ensembles such as Second City or the cast of SNL.

Curious about this too. Got some possibilities but different variations on the quality of the 80s work versus what they put out in other decades.

True North's category should be great

Does this allow ones that might tell a story (directly linked) over multiple commericals or does it have to be one that only airs as a stand-alone commercial?

I wanted to avoid general statements like 'most of their work in the 80's'. As long as they have an anchor in the 80's, they are appropriate for the category. There will be no inherent prejudice against an artist most of whose work came from other periods.

So I got asked a PM question about my category regarding level of specificity & what's draftable.

Will use vodka for my analogy again.

You can either draft vodka in general, or you could draft Grey Goose vodka, & either way no one else could draft a type of vodka, but they could still draft vodka + tequila for their drink because that's a different drink. I would say if the pick is Grey Goose vodka, the mixed drink can't be Grey Goose vodka + tequila, though, & you would have to take either a different brand or vodka in general.

I haven't really thought this all the way through for non-alcoholic drinks, but I think it generally makes sense?
