Ok originally the rules were supposed to be this
Quote:
Waiver Wire will be done with Yahoo rules. Players that are cut are locked for 2 days and then free on waivers. They are assigned on a worst to first basis and processed each night at 3 am est.
The "yahoo" part is reffering to the amount of time players are locked. I don't think we ever had it set up that way and now have a much better system in place, I'm just gonna keep it that way.
The players were given on a worst-1st basis which is how it is now except we never specified the order we were going to use for this. The original tiebreaking system used for draft order and playoffs seeding was:
Quote:
1. Overall winning %
2. Head to head winning %
3. Division winning % (If in same division)
4. Total points scored
5. Virtual coin flip
However I must have made a mistake when entering the order or I never actually did that myself and just went with the standard order?
We voted on a new tiebreaking system for bottom 6 order in the draft to make things more fair for those teams. but we did not do this for all tiebreakers.
I'm not really sure what to do here but I think fixing the order to the original settings is probably the best thing and then we can vote to change it in the offseason. I will check the waivers for last week to see if the 3rd tiebreaker changed anything and will fix that.
Apologies for the confusion.
