I also have by far the softest schedule to end the season. I play 3 winless teams over the next 4 weeks. I also have a game later against the lowest points scorer in the league.

My team is a lot better than it was at the beginning of the season with players developing, especially WRs. I've run well below EV in TDs and I also played the first few weeks effectively without a TE (hopefully ballard turns out to be startable).

My points scored doesn't tell the whole story since it is deflated from that one 50 point week where I gambled and started orton/decker/lloyd for 0 points.

Injuries have helped me a ton as graham and murray and smith and moore and alexander all got upgraded to starters at least for the next few weeks.
I'm sorry but you can't claim to have the toughest schedule in the league after going 4-2 with the second least points scored. I would say points against is the best indicator for the schedule you've played but I dunno what you're using. You couldn't be running much hotter though.

With the additions you're definitely in the picture and I'm not too excited about being in the NFC East right now.

You each get to play systolic twice, though.

I don't understand how you and chim can call the trade "not that bad" but then be upset about being in a division with ibav that is also in the same division as systolic?

I mean in terms of teams played. I have played every 4-2 or better team, and one 3-3 team. Haven't played any losing teams.

I don't mean toughest schedule in terms of runbad, but in terms of the good shape it puts me in for tiebreakers/the implicated softness of the second half of my schedule.

just because it was a good trade for one side doesn't mean it was necessarily a bad trade for the other side

Normally I would agree, but when an 0-6 team makes a trade for old players, its usually only good for one side.

Yeah, but he is also 900 carries older. And has had a catastrophic knee injury.

900 carries is basically 3 seasons worth of carries.

He's still recovering from his injury

And he is still producing at an elite level.
The guy will be fine for at least 2 years. At least.

For some reason waiver was winning %, H2H record, Total points.

Tiebreaker should be wining %, Total points so I fixed it.

TIE-BREAKERS
Game ties stand in the regular season.
End of Season Tiebreakers - The following is the tie-breaking scheme should two or more teams have identical records at the end of the season:

1. Overall winning %
2. Head to head winning %
3. Division winning % (If in same division)
4. Total points scored
5. Virtual coin flip
Actually this was the original tiebreaker system, Should I be changing it to this until the offseason?

Ok originally the rules were supposed to be this
Quote:
Waiver Wire will be done with Yahoo rules. Players that are cut are locked for 2 days and then free on waivers. They are assigned on a worst to first basis and processed each night at 3 am est.
The "yahoo" part is reffering to the amount of time players are locked. I don't think we ever had it set up that way and now have a much better system in place, I'm just gonna keep it that way.

The players were given on a worst-1st basis which is how it is now except we never specified the order we were going to use for this. The original tiebreaking system used for draft order and playoffs seeding was:
Quote:
1. Overall winning %
2. Head to head winning %
3. Division winning % (If in same division)
4. Total points scored
5. Virtual coin flip
However I must have made a mistake when entering the order or I never actually did that myself and just went with the standard order?

We voted on a new tiebreaking system for bottom 6 order in the draft to make things more fair for those teams. but we did not do this for all tiebreakers.

I'm not really sure what to do here but I think fixing the order to the original settings is probably the best thing and then we can vote to change it in the offseason. I will check the waivers for last week to see if the 3rd tiebreaker changed anything and will fix that.

Apologies for the confusion.

Love the trade for the LOLs.

Love that Foster went from #1 in the whole league to the equal of an older RB playing on an awful offense. Would you trade MJD for Best and Maclin? What signs have you seen that JAX is ready to breakout?

Wonder if Ibav would have done the trade without the Foster/MJD switch involved.

All that said, I get why he did it, considering he had no first and obviously wasnt going to make a playoff run, gaining a first is pretty valuable.

1) Would I trade MJD for Best and Maclin?

No. I think MJD is in the latter half of his career, so while he may still be productive, he isn't as valuable in trade.

2) What signs have you seen that JAX will break out?

MJD has consistently produced regardless of how the team as a whole has performed. He is also a featured back and the best thing about that entire team.

Yes, I knew I had no chance of making the playoffs. I figured I would take a sidegrade at RB, get myself a decent #2 WR and a 1st (which is exactly what I said earlier that I would trade rivers for), and set myself up to make a run next year.

Not to mention the fact that Ben Tate is probably going to start splitting carries a good deal.
