MJD is having some little issues, but no more than Foster is going to have with Tate in the backfield hawking carries.

Lloyd is about to go nuts under mcdaniels again AND with a better QB throwing to him.

The 1st rounder is going to set me up nicely for next year as well.

Systolic's picks for the next three years just got extremely valuable.

I really think Lloyd is a great pickup right now, for sure.

I just am really down on MJD.

Also, while the pick you got is currently 4-2 he has def been running over expectation (2nd lowest points scored).

While the trade makes him better its very unlikely Ibav is now a contender and you should be a favorite for a top 6 pick from him.

That being said.. makes perfect sense for Ibav to make a move. Running good so far with wins, so try to parlay that into a playoff run.

Also with Systo's QB I do like moving Rivers.. I would have just tried harder to get someone a bit more elite in return.

MJD is still putting up consistent numbers, while dealing with health problems while on an awful offense.

It's always a good move if someone is going to upgrade you at two positions for essentially pittance. That helped ibav for this season and the next three.

I did exactly that, and swapped Foster for MJD.

I got exactly what I wanted to get from this trade.

I don't like MJD either but now is certainly not the worst time to be trading for him. His value has already taken a nosedive from last year and I don't expect it to continue downward going forward.

I would say I'm a contender now.

I've definitely run way above expectation, but I've had the toughest possible schedule to date, and I win most tiebreakers(assuming we're going by OP).

I also have by far the softest schedule to end the season. I play 3 winless teams over the next 4 weeks. I also have a game later against the lowest points scorer in the league.

My team is a lot better than it was at the beginning of the season with players developing, especially WRs. I've run well below EV in TDs and I also played the first few weeks effectively without a TE (hopefully ballard turns out to be startable).

My points scored doesn't tell the whole story since it is deflated from that one 50 point week where I gambled and started orton/decker/lloyd for 0 points.

Injuries have helped me a ton as graham and murray and smith and moore and alexander all got upgraded to starters at least for the next few weeks.

I agree with your analysis, for the most part. I just don't know if it quite raises you to contender. Good move for you considering your record at the moment.

I mean if I make the playoffs I'm certainly gonna be a dog but anything can happen in 2-3 games and I've already beaten a bunch of top teams.

Our division is pretty brutal.

The thing is, that trade is so lopsided its good whether you are a contender or not. You got rid of an old RB and an old (and really bad) WR and got a young, top 5 RB and a young, top 10 QB.
