Things that need done
End of year spreadsheet updates - removing expired contracts, including making a rough list of available free agents and keeping track of matching rights.
Setting dates for off-season activities - you can just tweak last years from Proboards.
Fill vacancies.
Collect money (I can do this if people want but we need to have 14 people first)
Sort out rookie contracts and options.
Arrange draft time and produce draft order.
Sort out auction.
Update spreadsheet for draft and auction once they have been completed.
Enter rosters in Yahoo.
Sort out contract lengths.
I'm not going to be around much till the middle of January. It would be great if someone can get started on trying to fill the 4 remaining vacancies. It will be a struggle to fit everything in if we leave it till I get back.
Ludo I have a lot to do in the next 72 hours, but I can try to help hopefully, at least in filling the vacancies. Maybe cleaning up as well.
Can you give me access to the spreadsheet? I'll try to shoot an email out in the next 72 hours to everyone active and see if we cant get 1-3 total helpers for the offseason.
Also how will it be fair for teams who take over ****ty teams? Will they get some picks or extra money to catch up to some of the dynasty?
I been in a few keepers that once they lose a lot of people it's hard to replace them because some teams are just stacked and there's no way for those worst teams to get better and compete.
No changes are done and league dies or goes to 12 then 10 then 8 etc
I don't mind joining but keepers have a problem. Which is why people drop out.
If a team was neglected, it might take 3 years to be able to compete.
Many modern keepers now have ways to make incentive to new owner taking over a team that they need to drop 10 players who shouldn't be in MLB. And they are gonna have maybe 2 elite players left and 6-7 ok players.
The problem lies with there being like 20 players good enough to pick up but 12 teams who pick with u.
So u get 2 players if lucky.
Team who won last year has the same chances of picking those players and keep their stacked team from year before.
In short yes I wanna join. I taken over worse team in keeper before but I need a clear vision on what's the offer for taking over a broken team.
I'm looking at anarchist team... How does a team gets to 4 players total?
Rasmus who is a waiver wire guy in all my leagues has a 18$ salary lol. What?
Then u have 2 good players and another ****ty one. How can this team even fill a roster?
I'm not being negative just that judging from other keepers, the draft is like 4 rounds and that's mostly players that ser dropped and player contracts that expired and stuff.
I'm guessing is different here, where can I read rule or check the site maybe?
I'll answer all my questions by looking at setup.
