Do you really mean to tell me the hall, the ONLY hall in this hotel doesn't have a camera to verify that? Are we living in 1950? What did I do in my room? That's really none of your bloody beeswax. Yes, I had company for much of the night. I don't see how it's at all relevant. Will you please go and interrogate a real suspect. I can't believe we are still here, I'll be calling a lawyer tomorrow."

someone should ask the front desk if they have any cameras.

Each time I walked past he kept saying something about 'Derrick', to his friend, he seemed quite anxious. The older gentleman sitting with his wife seemed anxious too actually, though he didn't seem to be saying much at all. His wife was talking to that American man. Then there was the loud table, with the younger guests, they seemed to be talking a lot about England and London, I think they went in to the bar after dinner. Hmm... I don't recall much else actually."

There aren't any cameras in the hotel. I'll just confirm this now as I don't think it's fair to have someone use a question on it.

Actually ma'am I think I can fit in both. I've been up to the roof, you can access it through a ladder at the end of the hallway. There wasn't anything up there though, other than tiles and a bit of moss. I've also been down to the kitchen and had a look there. Not much was out of the ordinary. The fridge and freezer was stocked with food for prep, and there were all the usual cooking items and utensils. One thing that struck me as a little strange was in amongst the cook's personal items there was a Houston's Rockets cap. I found this a little odd as not many people here follow the NBA. Also, the back door had been left unlocked, which seemed a little odd.

Yes sir, I've been in there and had a thorough search. It's a single room, with one bed that was a mess. There are dirty clothes strewn about the room on the floor, and a large suitcase lying open against a chest of draws. Inside are mostly dark clothes, and some comic books such as X-men and Batman. On his desk is an envelope nothing written on the front of it, and an opened box of "Jelly Belly". In his waste bin is a pamphlet about GreenPeace. As well as the clothes in the suitcase, there was a long black trench coat hanging in the closet. Nothing else of note.

So I went downstairs to make it, didn't want to wake Marg up, you see. I was down there, in the kitchen I mean, when the shot was fired. I was very scared so I stayed where I was. I thought it dangerous to go out. So eventually I heard others talking, and no more shots, I thought it safe to come out. And that's when I saw the body I guess."

Kinda funny that 2 different guests went out of their way to tell us what they ate on the night of the murder but the guy who was puking all night decided to keep it to himself.
"Yeah, sure, I can do that for ya. Oh I remember the morning of the murder I got in late to work, so Vickie had already done most of the set up. She gave me a "Houston Rockets" cap she had found there, how it got in to the kitchen is anyone's guess. Anyway, one minute and I'll match names to orders....

Yes sir, I've had a good look. The Oldenfolds room is quite a large room with one large bed. It's been made. There is a nighty and some pyjamas on the bed. There is a book on the desk with a woman and a horse on the cover, with a pair of reading glasses. There is one large suitcase and another smaller one. The large suitcase has clothes. The smaller suitcase has a toiletries bag, opened, and a book on bird watching. It also has a pair of binoculars. Nothing else to report really.

Eskimo

Is it possible to get clarification on who Vickie is? This name hasn't been mentioned before. I'm guessing she's the waitress?
