Yes, entrant, you're absolutely right. If you could play this from start to finish you'd be pretty amazing. I don't consider myself the type to just enjoy this sort of thing in general, but I really did here.

72o with November Hotel by Mad Season

By this type of thing I basically mean super long extended guitar-centric songs/solos, although I can think of a few I love. This one is right up there. The build-up throughout the first few minutes followed by the sustained frenetic pace/passion, whilst really being able to build and vary on a theme, really caught my eye ear.

It's a simple song, it's pretty easy to play, it's like super standard chord progression, but goddamnit it just works. It's so good. I hate it when that happens. Nick can play this, and did not submit a recording, sadly. Was definitely hoping for a drunk rendition.

I did once see someone sing a surprisingly good rendition of Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah at a kareoke bar. It was a bit odd.

Loved the way this was put together. I wasn't really familiar with the original, but having done the requisite familiarisation I think I very much prefer this rendition. The vocals have this dark, slightly haunting quality to them which I think really adds to the track. Kudos
