Meh he retires every four weeks or so, only to return two weeks later. It's tough to keep track of him.

On phone so no writeup but will pick to keep draft rolling.

Team TappoBoiler selects

shipitup

-One of my first games ever on POG was a vanilla + where SIU got voted into a Mayor role. He proceeded to slowly solve the game piece by piece mechanically, as angels protected him every night allowing him to destroy the wolves and win the game for the village.

- Top 5 turbo player in both roles.

I think everyone says this about every pick but I truly believe SIU is a steal who should've never been available in this spot.

When you randed wolf/villager with him again in the 2013 Lord of the Rings mash, you didn't in actual fact do anything to hurt his chances of survival. He claimed masons early with another wolf, which is an extenuating circumstance for you, but you were initially suspicious of the claim and of Noah's response to your own mason claim, only to later decide that he was lock clear. It seems like whatever he was doing in the thread was working on you.

I don't remember that last part at all but I guess I'm not going to research against it, so shrug. I'm far more willing to take the hit against my own play than I am to accept the notion that your writeup didn't contain an outright fairy tale.

Again though, allow me to come back to the fact that I thought Noah was a fine pick where you took him. That wasn't just me bailing out of the batter's box when I said that.

But these writeups by so many drafters are just too ridiculously sunny and they keep forcing me to take issue with them.

Badly swept. We knew 99% undrafted slanker was a wolf (I held onto seer cover for like a millennium too long ugh) but since we had to go perfect/perfect/perfect, I made an argument that we should go hardest-to-easiest instead of the conventional order. Nobody bought my reasoning (even though I was a peeked clear villager) and even fewer seemed to buy the three wolves I thought I had figured out.

CDL also beat me as wolf in the SE NHL game, though I had him nailed based on so many lies. Village majed <undrafted> before I even woke up the next day (same way village majed the guy I told them to clear in the draft anon game). Results are results, and I don't seem to produce them in ww.

Still think you won that exec, and just ran into a trainwreck of runbad. Feel like I let you down anyway.

The claim I made is that Noah actually has a wolf game now, which I consider a fairly innocuous statement. Regardless of what you think of his current level of wolfing, you should at least agree that his wolf game has improved significantly from what it used to be and that the improvement increases his value in this draft.

I'll allow that he still can't fully recreate his villager game. Then again, Noah's villager game is one of the most difficult ones to replicate.

Hurp

You were drafted way too late (remember that DVC where we both laughing at how obvious binkles was wolfing?).

Btw, zdye is also a major value pick imo. His reads go against the grain, he sticks to them, is very often right, and maybe because his first "good" wolf game was Mechano (my first game after a a long hiatus), I rate his wolf game better than people who remember some bad ones by him? Idk, I think he's a really good player.

Yeah I think he was picked too low but I probably think that about more people than there are picks, almost, if that makes sense :P

Makes total sense. Though I could name some names whom he should have been drafted ahead of. But what's the point of that, really?

I mean, other than the point of the draft.

What made me happy was seeing people I respect and truly enjoy playing with give me some praise, forget about draft position. I swear if I played a few more games with soah, I'd be able to read him better (I tunneled him in some games based mainly on *one* turbo and a game where I wolfed with him and thought I recognized some "behind the scenes" activity...mistakenly). And never being able to truly bond with Chips as villagers is one of the my true ww regrets.

I did have some great games with Hoya. He read back! After being nked on n5 and seeing someone cite a post that you made on d3 as a reason to lynch a hidden wolf is one of the great pleasures. G0tgame was my favorite villa bro. We never got killed early but on like d8, we would figure it all out together. Occasional moments with XXsooted like that. And a few undrafteds.

SIU has played awesome on a number of occasions. I'm a fan. Only leak is tendency to tilt hard at times when getting voted and sub out haha. If I'm remembering correctly anyways. But I agree he's excellent otherwise; think he gets tilted from being so invested in the game. You can sense his passion.

Another player I didn't think of off the top of my head. Creating a big board would've been good but I like our team anyways. Sangaman has been the best value pick so far imo. I found him too late by found I mean "remembered." CT has been keeping more of a big board. Appreciate his writeups cuz I'm a writeup slanker.

Silman was behind the JUDGE something or another gimmick in a few games right? One of them was a Pony V+ and there were others. That's part of the reason I wanted to pick him along with always being pleasant to see him in games. If that wasn't him then lolz but whatever like pick anyways.

Some words on zdye from me it's s similar reason with TheNothing. SALT OF THE EARTH werewolf player who is team oriented. Always has time to participate in wolf chat and doesn't go off the reservations making unnecessary fps plays that I know about. Doesn't get flustered no matter how deep the game goes; an important trait in every role as it can become a tiresome grind. All these are the kinds of things that win games in the long run. All of our team has these traits for a reason. Even keel is important.

I haven't kept meticulous records or anything, but my impression is that he's gotten slightly better at not tilting and significantly better at not subbing out. Unless he has subbed out in some recent game, the last time was in January 2013. He has also improved at explaining his reads.

Thanks. I don't really care about where I was drafted (though admittedly that google spreadsheet was an open tab in my browser). I know I can play the game with you guys, and that's enough for me. And there's a legit argument to be made about solving the game, but not convincing people to vote with you. So that's a leak.

I do have a "braggy" case about my wolf skillz, though. Binkles can give cliffs if he feels like it. It's just mainly that they exist.
