clarification: comic strips/cartoons not relevant to the character, regardless of where they might have appeared

we probably don't need to ask the "four or more works" question, because i have to believe the answer to that is yes if she's the major character "in most works by the main author in which she appears," unless DWetz is being super-nitty and she's only in three works by that author but was the main character in two of them

it might still be good to know whether she's been in six works or, say, thirty-six works, but i feel like there are more fruitful questions aorn

the fact that another author later used the character definitely points to either children's literature or science fiction imo

Note that's not to say that children of a certain level of development couldn't consume the works and enjoy them; they're just not written with children in mind

If that makes sense.

The date created is really interesting because there weren't really that many science fiction novels around that time (though there were detective novels), and certainly fewer in non-North America/UK counties.

Detective novels make a lot of sense; it would be good to know if it was ANZAC or somewhere else probably

This is a really interesting one

How about a clarifying question and then go for her if it still fits and go back to the drawing board if it doesn't
