Ooh, there we go .
So could go with a few things, like "primarily" known for comedy? known for stand up? Known as a writer? And then can narrow down the nationality. Got a feeling it might be someone like Gervais though.

Think should next ask/work out what type of show he's on. E.g. panel show, a talk show, if he's a host/presenter.
Lots of UK hosts or regular of game shows though are either known for Stand up comedy though (Like Dara O'Brian, Lee Mack, Ed Byrne etc) or are primarily known for acting.
Yeah I was just about to say that it could be someone like John Oliver, before editing it out based on that last answer.
I thought about that, but I don't think so. There are also lots of Irish and Welsh UK guys in comedy. We could definitely ask though, would narrow down.
I don't know if you American guys are going to know someone like Rob Brydon, who's Welsh and would fit all of the criteria (I think), so it might not be someone quite as obscure as that and someone that only UK people would know.
Atm I can't think of anyone who's Scottish, internationally famous and that fits all of the criteria.
