Guys to clarify, I'm using this definition of screenwriter: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screenwriter

Ie, I'm not sure if I'm using the term screenwriter correctly here - he's not called a 'screenwriter' on his wiki article, just 'writer'

Although there's additional context on the wiki article so I'm probably just being an idiot.

not a question, but maybe ask if he is primarily known for writing movies.

although it's sounding like he is not a movie writer.

maybe ask if he is known for primarily writing comic books

Ya how about letting us revise the screenwriter question to:

is he primarily known for writing movie or TV scripts?

(since that's the usual connotation)
