I'm still baffled LKJ is a wolf. he played well from my perspective. like he replicated his villa game super well. very hard to read him :| and annie being a wolf also baffles me and I have no idea how to read him hah.

binking monkey d1 was super lucky too. jim claiming seer and starrazz coming with that video is just one of those bizarrely runbads wolves suffer from time to time. this could have been played out completely different.

I almost feel bad for the wolves here, there were so many villagery villagers that they had very little shot. Throw that in with some very loud villagers hard defending a couple of the possible mislynches like Crossnerd and it's good night.

yeah if it depended on me crossnerd and jim would be mislynches and people like anarchist and LKJ would be in true deep cover

Well the thing about the MB lynch - Jim was really the impetus behind that, even though you were the one shouting.

His fake peek made picking the other party in that MB/Cross weirdness a solid option. You pointed it out and voted her, but when nobody originally went for it you backed down. Then I voted MB because it usually takes me a touch longer to organize all my thoughts, and then you immediately jumped back on and started shouting.

You deserve the credit for really pushing that wagon, but if Jim hadn't done the Crossnerd fake peek that could have gone a lot differently.

Also comical in retrospect, when I was pointing out that I was an unlikely wolf bro with MB because I could have started a wagon on someone else, the two people I mentioned were....Annie and LKJ.

I mean I guess I didn't play THAT BAD considering by d2 I had the game POE'd down pretty massively but everyone had that.

still probably my worst villa game in two months. I trolled a lot though, but even if I didn't troll I would 100% come to the same conclusion regarding jim and cross every single time on d2

It took a bit but we don't work that badly even when we're suspicious of each other.

Hardcore you played fine, if nothing else you were so obviously villagery after your horrible start you cleared yourself almost 100%, which is also a very good village skill.

Sadly with my meta that's harder for me to do.

Ya I mean, this is a cool game because:

a) every villager was +ev, in that noah crushed (and so did crossnerd, just quietly) and that every other villager either had good enough reads or, if they were wrong on something, were willing to work together with other villagers to come around, and everyone worked fairly hard at clearing themselves

b) I think I actually put everything in part A. Like I can't look at anyone here and say they played a bad game. Mistakes were made, sure, but they were all reversible.

my goal every game is to have it solved d1. if I didn't, I failed. this is pretty much what happened here although it's what happens every game except for the studs and duds.

like first there was my complete inability to read jim. I hate when people come to different conclusions I came, and usually when they're also pretty good players I think they're just wolves. I mean that's huge huge leak on my game. on top of that jim was pushing annie and LKJ and I was reading both villagery, so it was nearly impossible for me to leave the tunnel vision because I was just dead wrong about everyone. there was the vix push that I thought was villagery at first but it became incresingly wolfy and almost twtbaw from my absurd perspective when jim was still pushing him and he made like 100 villagery posts. and then there was the trollish behaviour, the hardclaim seer but don't die etc.

crossnerd was like... the way she pushed monkey really did come from nowhere. so my inclination on re-read was to think she was rather wolfy. jim not dying and she not dying when she was so seery while attacking monkey and jim was claiming made me lock those reads in. and when I get a single aspect of the game wrong, I get everything wrong sometimes.

LKJ and annie are people I'm pretty sure I just randomly think are x or y. annie made a ****load of super villagery posts d1. lkj did too and the way I read him is proven wrong. he is a good wolf, he showed here. if he participated more he could have skated through the field for a while.

and yeah those are mostly my postgame notes. disregard the trolling, folks. I was just amusing myself

Yeah, I mean I should have stuck with it, but it was nearly impossible to determine who would be the wagons at end of day and I felt like i was in trouble pretty early on by not being able to post. If I'd had more time, I would have pressed that issue but I was panicking a bit about missing eod

I think binkles really nailed it, the villager in general was willing to think and rethink things, there was some tunneling but nowhere near as much as usual. Like, I understood I was in the POE but I didn't assume that meant Noah or hardcore weren't villagers, just that they were missing what made me an obvious villager this game, so I worked to show them and try to figure out the wolves.

And as usual my wolf reads weren't that great but my strongest village reads were. And my willingness to follow those reads paid off.

I was so certain yesterday that hardcore had to be a wolf for pushing me so hard, you've never done that to me as v/v before. :/
