I think most members would agree that Politics is left of center. However, to hard-core right wingers, being left of center makes one a radical, SJW, extremist.

From a European perspective it was socially left of center and middling when it came to the public/private sector. 'Liberals' of various stripes when arguing together almost sounded like Labour and the Tories going at it. Then you had Einbert who was roundly mocked. What you term as the left wing could almost be called the moderate right over here.

It was definitely a lefty spot when it comes to US politics specifically - but not egregiously so.

I know it is difficult at this time for you knowing that your haven is on the brink but do you think I was really being serious with that post? Reactionary post. Of course I took some pleasure given what I've had to endure arguing my point and getting harassed in here for it but I also know that it forms a big part of this site and as long as you can get the rules and mods right I don't see why a politics forum on this site can't continue.

If you don't like it, what do you care? There are some forums on 2p2 that I don't like. I just don't go those places. I don't post about them. And I sure as **** don't complain about them incessantly to the mods and administrators.

2 years ago I said this that I had no particular interest in politics apart from maybe contributing to 1 to 2 threads (but even then it was doubtful given the unfettered hostility I would face) but all I wanted was my name to be cleared and I didn't face an exile from p and Wookie continued to deny that despite me setting out how unjust it was. If you know anything about me I'm persistent and will keep pursuing something until it is set right and if that wasn't the lifting of the exile (which it didn't appear to be as Wookie couldn't see reason) then it was to argue for change to prevent what happened to me to happen to others like me.
