final tabled a 5.50 20k guarantee first was like 6k

i came into final table with 1.3 mil or so 2nd in chips

donkey chip leader put me all in on the flop with my tptk vs his bare flush draw

needless to say he got there and i raged very hard

Down to final 8 players.

8th gets $300
1st gets $2500

Someone raises in EP with blinds at 1500/3000 to 8K.
I'm next to act and have Queens with a 40K stack. I shove.
BB with 30K thinks forever, and calls with 8's. Original raiser folds.
Someone says the folded Q8. Well guess what comes on the flop?

Two hands later I get in it with AT vs. 7's. I flop two pair, but they flopped a set.
I found out the next day the guy with 8's won it.

Played a Omaha-8 or better tournament a few years ago. Never made a final table but had been close. Down to the final 11 and I pick up AA34 double suited. Short goes all in, mid stack calls, I reshove and mid calls me with JJ89. I took 10th then put a hole in the door with my foot.

Edit: Mid stack put in like 20% of his chips to call the short's all in and had to put in virtually all of his chips to cover me.

$109 on FT, down to 15 players, first was $27K.

I am 3rd in chips, get it all in on flop of A,2,2 with AK vs chipleader's AQ--winner of pot would have been huge CL. Hits a queen on river. $700 never tasted so bad.

I punched the wall and put a hole in it, then threw my bottle of red pepper flakes against the wall unit, breaking the bottle and getting them all over the floor.

I ended my tirade by stabbing myself in the ankle...

I was chipleader with around 45% of chips in play in the $100r on stars. Something like $32k for 1st. In the span of 3 consecutive hands I lose JJ < 99, KK < AA and finally AQo < AQo to finish 8th.

River was a 9 and I'm out of the tournament. Winner of the hand had over half the chips in play after that hand and went on to win the tournament.

I basically didn't get out of my hotel room bed for about 36 hours. And i still sometimes lose sleep thinking about that hand

Don't think I've even seen someone else take a worse beat in a tourney with so much at stake.

After the grey goose i decided to have a nice relaxing drum session

I have no chat. I min raise my QQ. He took it as a statement and shoved with 65s. Flops a 6, turns trips.

The very next hand I get A9. He raises and I shove. He calls with A6, 6 on the river. I was still left with a little bit and that was gone in one hand also.
