hitting a set with middle pair is the only way to win online confirmed.

I was also referring to 1/2 Live.

I have the money to play 1/2, but I'm trying to improve my game. I won't learn anything by waiting for 77 to spike a 7 for a $500 pot. 1/2 is one of the reasons why I'm such a ****ty poker player. I feel that if they have 8x more in their stack than their bet, then I always have 8:1 implied odds.

Fact is, in online poker, people don't stackoff with underpairs frequently.
This may be the dumbest thing I've read since Sammy stopped posting.

You don't believe live players chase any draw without odds and then call large river bets with marginal holdings... almost all the time?

There is probably 1 person like this at every 2 5nl tables (so half the tables have a fish like this). But at your standard 1/2nl game, I feel like 10-40% (sometimes as high as everyone else at the table) is like this.
