Heres where I am at with the grind, currently at about 495k vpp


My plan for the rest of the year is this, would love to get some feedback on the idea. I haven't been able to play higher stakes because ive been losing more then Ive been making from fpp/vpp. This means this next 100k vpp is extremely important to completing the challenge. I basically can't lose money during this time period. My current idea is to get to 600k vpp by the end of the month, which would be another 8k in fpp bonuses+ 6500ish in milestone bonuses. If I can start December with a 20k online roll then it is def possible to knock out 400k vpp. At that rate I would be making a 4k bonus every 4 days and then make another 7k in bonuses the following 4 days with another milestone/fpp bonus. I'm really not too sure what to make of my PLO game right now and my ability to possibly win/lose during this stretch. My ev for the month at plo50 is up money but I am down a bunch of BIs, my plo100 is a similar graph. I really don't know what to expect and how much I might end up losing playing 200/400 but historically I have ran normal/slightly good at 2/4, hence me being up at that limit on ptr.


From 600k-1mill vpp there is 32k fpp value/8k milestone value/20k sne value/25kish next year sne value/45k prop bet value. So basically I could lose alot of ****ing money during this and still end up alot of money. I really dont think I could lose that much money playing 1/2 but after these last 2 months I know anything is possible. Still trying to decide if i will 50bb or 100bb stack when I do move up as well

what if someone were to teach you how to play low variance and good winrate winning 6max nl? rarely more than 4bi downswings and only a few 10-15bi downswings per year.. average a bout 2-5 losing days per month for the past couple years..

i wouldnt mind getting paid later any amount that you think what you've learned was worth as watching your ptr/props these past 2 years has been good fun.

sorry for being a dumbass and not comprehending this, but if you can continue to lose a ****load of $ and still profit from this bet then why are you saying you can't lose $ during the next 100k vpp?

maybe he wont have anything to play with?

since your PLO game is clearly not very good, i would try to play as short as possible assuming it doesnt affect your vpp/hand by much.

24-tabling for 100bb whilst not really knowing what you're doing seems like suicide because of the amount of turns/rivers you have to play.

if you are going to play 300k hands of plo200/400 in a month (nittiest month of the year on stars), you should probably try to emulate blakkcat/bearhose.

due to unforseen events i will be playing 1/2 and 2/4 earlier then expected


and I wont be 24 tabling while I play there. Never would have thought bearhose was winning money playing like he does, maybe need to go over a bunch of there hands and see how they both play 23/12 and do it with 30bbs. Not quite sure what my plan is now but happy I dont need to grind plo50 anymore

Been playing 2/4 and some 1/2 last few sessions, have only been playing 15-17 tables and feel pretty good playing. I was thinking this last month and think it more now but as weird as it sounds I like playing with like 1 fish/regs at the table then with like 3/4 fish (most tables at plo50/100) because for whatever reason I cannot beat a table with 4 fish at it but can do well vs regs. Def doing it wrong somehow



In the past I've ran at EV/slightly under from 2/4 which is alot diff then my lower stakes results so maybe this graph will be able to keep up, at about 500k vpp right now, still trying to only get to 600k by end of month to set up with one month of grinding. The first session I played was 4hrs and I got as many VPP during that time as I got during a 12 hour session of 50plo lol. It looks like I'll need 8hr/day for 10k vpp

GL CJ, I don't understand the logic behind going for 600k this month though. Wouldn't a better strategy be to grind up as many VPPs as you can this month? I've never played online cash with any regularity but I've heard the games become much nittier in December and VPPs/hand drops significantly due to all of the people making the SN/SNE push.
