the only point i bring up, is say he does end up winning the bet, especially by a small margin. say the next closest guy is only 500-1000$ below him. all of a sudden i bet people are going to start pulling the "oh well you bought hh, and those surely helped your winrate by the margin of victory." its kind of like the bettors are freerolling here. if he loses, all is good and well. if he wins, they can go back and pull the "you used hh and cheated" card and want the bet null and void. or like bigred mentioned, if he is winning with a few days to go, one of the bettors can email stars and get his account suspended pending a review for purchasing hh.

even if hh only give him a good advantage for the first 30-50k hands of the bet, it still could result in a net gain that is big enough to be the margin between first and 2nd.

Well I can definitely speak to this one at least....that wouldn't be grounds to declare it null and void.

this is such a cool prop bet that no one is gonna start angleshooting at the end if he's sitting plum on top of the LB imo. the rules are the rules and jalex has already said its a non issue & he's the judge.

also if silent is a really swingy player then this bet will be even more fun to watch as we see huge swings in profit/loss, not to mention all the mental stuff that goes with it. i've bought a bucket of popcorn already.

i'm king of sad that i'm not going to have the same access and ability as all the other 100nl regs on pokerstars by being able to use hand histories. i have emailed PTR for a refund, and on teamviewer with jalex and i have deleted my purchased hand histories from HEM and the original file. even thought it seems over 80% of the action against me is FINE with hand histories, there could be people who angle shoot me by reporting me to pokerstars. i was not originally aware about breaking any TOS of pokerstars, and I have since gotten rid of everything and now more legit than 90% of pokerstars regulars who are anonymously using hand histories. NOT HAPPY

There's no way 90% of the regs are using hand histories. Maybe <5%. Buying hh's isn't that big of an edge anyway. Not worth it imo.

yeah, i used to think way more people used hand histories than actually do. for a long time i just assumed most everyone did it. but i came to find out most people are actually against it and dont use them. plus not to mention, most stars regs are 24 tablers and play like 5-10k hands a day, so they dont really need to buy hh lol

Don't have to worry about ftp players this month. PTR got < half of my hands today so far.

i sent PTR an email asking about there accuracy on each site, and they said last the period of november where they didnt track ftp was an exception and everythings back up and running. so yeah, i do have to worry about ftp.

I sugest you OP to freeze the bet and email stars about this issue and proceed asap after you receive an ok answer.

I tend to think hand histories you buy are going to be pretty much worthless. A friend and I have large samples on the same people and our numbers on them are quite different. I mean they would show you who's a nit etc but hell you can figure that out in 30 min anyway.

Hey Silent I believe PTR resets at 1 or 2am EST so your play right now will not count... I think.
