In my opinion, I don't believe WW2 would have been won by the allies without the contributions of both of these countries. But yes, please share...
Obviously alternative histories are highly speculative, however, if on May 28 1940 Britain hadn't decided to fight on vs the Germans and negotiated, the Germans would have had no real opposition in Europe + would have the resources of Britain under its control. Without Britain's disruption of German attempts to create nuclear missiles, both Germany and America would have possessed the nuke, whilst the Germans may also have created the Sonnengewehr. With increased resources and less fronts to worry about Germany and its Allies would have likely captured Russia and China, before eventually capturing America.
Alternatively.. if events had gone as Hitler planned, Britain hadn't attempted to stop Nazi expansion in Europe and merely a European War had broken out, Germany would had the time to do what Hitler originally desired and build Germany up until the 1970s when a final battle for World Supremacy would take place between the US, Britain and the Germans etc.
