Thanks for sharing this, its ******ed how much i can relate to this story, really, although i don't think i have quite the same anger issues as you. What are you doing with your time now that poker isn't as big a part of the equation?

Hi, Lyncho, long time, no see. it was nice reading your post. I didn't know you wanted to be me when we were growing up. Funny enough, I'll tell you a secret: my most secret ambition through all these years was to become you. I mean a white boy. So I was only playing poker to get white skin, like Michael Jackson, now I have enough quid, so in 2 weeksI'm having the operation scheduled, in a fortnight's time I'm going to be you!

Excellent story OP, I think many people can relate to it, myself included. It can be incredibly easy to lose perspective on your life when immersed in poker. After all, for a lot of us poker is not only a pursuit of money, but a pursuit of freedom, and as such it is easy to become blinded to everything else in the process. I think it's great you have stuck with your studies, and also that you took the time to write this account of your experiences and provided advice for others based on them.

PS. Based on your clear interest in reading, and your relationship with "Omar", I would highly recommend reading "Demian" by Hermann Hesse.
