Fullring game, stacks are 250ish BBs. My image is fishy-aggro. My opponent has a fishy aggro image as well, but lately he has been 3-betting and 5-betting a wee bit too much.

I open to $425 UTG with 95s. My opponent in the HJ makes it $1000. It folds back to me and I decide to 4-bet to $2,800 since I know my opponent isn't really expecting this. He then 5-bets to $4,600 which I read as weakness since it is so small and so I 6-bet to $11,300. My opponent tanks and then makes it $25,000. I feel like I'm in a rough spot, but also felt like my opponent was getting out of line.

Eventually I just pushed the rest of my stack in for $50,000ish knowing that my opponent will probably fold even with the great odds, because it is doubtful I am ever bluffing here.

Good spot or bad spot. I mean I'm UTG so my range looks really strong 8-betting all-in, but at the same time my opponent might have the goods a lot too since I wasn't really expecting a 7-bet. What do yall think?

95 of diamonds?

You haven't told us anything about him. Do you have a picture or facebook? Maybe he likes diamonds. You know about blocking right? If you have diamonds he can't make the flush.

It's only money. Why not. But I suspect he's calling because I doubt you'd take this line with AA or KK.

I think AA is my most likely hand taking this line. Although both my opponent and I are capable of excellent plays

I had 95s of spades if I remember correctly. Although if I had diamonds I don't think it would have changed anything. My cards barely matter since I am playing at such a sophisticated level.

Also, just to understand this hand, given how high level it is and all, your opponent was looking at a pot of about $75k with about $25k behind to call, correct? Also, you both are "capable of excellent plays", which implies you know each others games reasonably well. And yet you are presuming the ONLY hand he can put you on is Aces. That and you know he is willing to fold a hand he 7bet despite getting 3 to 1 odds.

Oddly enough, I find that my eight-betting usually looks stronger from middle or late position than it does UTG.

if your sizing were samller on the 4b you would be able to pop out a 10b for extra repping power

Idk, the spade blockers are really important.

Fish typically only 7bet when their in a good mood, such as when they see a super pretty ace of spades, despite whatever the next card is. If you have spades it's more likely hes weighted towards value hands.
