Jfc book-keeping is a royal PITA, it seems to be ridiculously complicated when allowing multiple currencies.

Example:

Someone buys for £19 and Paypal takes 80p fee

Easy to book keep.

Now someone buys it for $32 and Paypal takes a $1.50 fee, then converts it to £19.10 to go into your balance.

#1 I can write easily as £19 sale, minus 80p fee = £18.20 net. It lets me easily keep track of fees so I can easily work out if somewhere else will be cheaper, and keeps the profit %'s honest.

But #2? Exchange rate fluctuations sometimes mean we get more money than the product is priced at after fees! (This is a nice little bonus!) So how do I work out the fees? GAH!

Also Paypal does the most ******ed way of doing a refund. This is how it works with multiple currencies:

Buyer pays $32 via Paypal
Paypal takes fee
Paypal converts to £
Paypal adds it to your £ account balance
Buyer requests refund
<******ed part>
Paypal wont let you convert your balance to $ to do refund
Paypal works out how much $32 is in GBP (£20.50)
Paypal draws £20.50 from your bank balance
Paypal converts £20.50 to $32
5 days after pressing refund the buyer gets their money
</******ed part>

When doing a refund in a different currency there is no way to instruct it to take it from your current Paypal balance it ALWAYS takes it directly from your bank account.

wtf is with online banks only making the last 18 months of data available to you?

it fkkn 2011, a pdf of a statment is 25K of space. every company and their mother can afford to give away free GBs of space, but bofa can't shell out for the extra few MB to store you complete history of statements? is there any rational reason for this?

My employer finally released the web guy. So, a guy comes in for an interview and says: "I'd rather use Dreamweaver because CSS is hard."

He was a very early developer with Amazon. He also has a multiplayer game, whose name I can't remember, that's been around for years.

Major geek out, just got 2xHD6870 (crossfire) ready for BF3. I feel like I've paid a lot for this game lol but it's so enormously sick I have to do it. If any of you have it and want to be in the same team or w/e let me know I think I'm Gullanian on origin

That's normal

You can check out some "let's play" videos on youtube (yogscast is awesome - funny and entertaining as well as informational, though the first episodes are quite old now - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UdEF...h_e_se&list=SL ) for some hints and there's also the minecraft wiki at http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Minecraft_Wiki

Most importantly though, you have to join the 2+2 Minecraft server!

Server address is: 2p2.provisionhost.com - Ask Josh to be added to the whitelist in this thread:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/75...ecraft-861219/

Oh, and if you see a big green walking penis... run the other way.

Ah, cool, didnt realise there was a 2p2 minecraft server, thanks.

Ye, been reading the wiki a lot, seems to be the go to for all information. There is quite a good subreddit for minecraft too.
