Pretty simple questions.

Luck is the most highly rated college QB since Peyton Manning. Would you be willing to give up your first through seventh round picks for a chance at the Luck sweepstakes?

Obviously the answer changes depending on the team, so for the poll's sake let's keep it for a bottom third team. If you want to make a case a middle or top tier team should go for it in the comments.

OTOH, if your team somehow won the Luck sweepstakes, would you be willing to give up Luck for an entire draft class? If no, at what point do you make the trade? If yes, would you take less?

He is clearly worth multiple firsts.. and a first should be well worth a 4th-7th or whatever.

So, yes, I would.

Bottom third teams are not alike, they have different problems.

I'd rather have an entire draft rather than Luck based on the 50%+ chance he doesn't become a top 5 NFL QB.

better question is that cam newton would be worth a teams first round pick for the next X years (keep in mind that in about three seasons those will all be very late)

Rather have Tim Tebow. Pure winners are hard to find. Luck hasn't and will not win a national title. Can't trust someone like that at the first overall pick. To be honest, this draft class has little to no winners in it. Landry Jones? Matt Barkley? I guess Kellen Moore is what you need but his epic meltdown vs Nevada last year...

Probably some elite WR that needs to go here.

Dolphins have Chad Henne though.

Colts need Luck much more.

If I'm the Dolphins I'm trading the draft for Luck.

They're not that bad, except at QB.

If you don't have a good QB then yeah, this is a pretty easy decision.

Think the team trading Luck would rather have multiple first round picks + some other picks though.

New York Jets should offer Sanchez + this year's draft + next year's first.

I doubt Polian would take that TBO. Dolphins might

No, it's not the least important position. But RB's are a dime a dozen so I agree giving up the draft for one is LOL.

I would be willing to make the trade if I was a team a long way away from contention. You can over turn your roster in 4 years and that a good QB can be around for 15 years. (Washington, Denver, Seatle) A team thats window is now, would be harder to pull the trigger. Hard to give up the depth you get in the draft and harder still to win with a rookie QB.

Question is what do the Colts do if they get the first pick? Would look at trading him and would be pressured by Manning to do so butI think they take him.

I would give the entire Broncos draft, all 4 of our QB's, and a kidney.

man if hes 5050 to be a perennial top 5 qb id say that makes the trade pretty damn close.

no college player is worth an entire draft. you build depth and take fliers in the later rounds. luck is still just one guy.

just curious, what's the scouting report on luck?

wrt leadership, pocket presence, arm strength, reading defenses/audibling, mobility, and toughness?

how does he respond when he gets frustrated or has a mostly bad game? my impression is that they just crush, what would he do against lsu or alabama?
