Not great for stotts to have decent leads in 2 games and cough them up. But really not sure what you can do with Plumlee as your best option there. Plumlee is pretty nice but the passing they run through him is nullified down the stretch because of his inability/unwillingness to do anything other than hold it and do a screen handoff. Just a slight upgrade to him would be a huge help to Portland.
Meyers Leonard was doing well before season ending shoulder surgery. Portland immediately went on a losing streak when he went out.

Yeah I liked Leonard Myers. Such an awesome spaz.

Actually rooting for the cavs if only to see Victor go nuclear on SE for months on end.

Really, the cavs are just overall better. They haven't more talent. Love Smith irving shump>>>Barnes livingston bogut. Curry just isn't good enough to overcome that advantage.

Warriors fans are praying for injuries. I hope curry and the warriors are healthy.
Those are the players you compare to say Cavs have more talent?

KC, Don't think Curry really ever had a clean look at the layup. Plumlee rotated down pretty early but maybe he could have put a shot when he initially came to the baseline. Think he saw that something would open up

Vic, lol at Frye matching up with Draymond, did you mean Lebron?

Edit: however, it is true that the Love, Smith and Irving are better than Barnes, Livingston, and Bogut. Think the woyas have a couple other guys though.

We'll see how the cavs look when they play a team that can actually break their defense down, which may not happen til the finals given how TOR/MIA look right now

What kind of comparison is that? Cavs 2nd-5th best players are better than GSW 4th-6th best players? SHOCKING.

Dude. Just stop. Frye is a fine piece, but he's not the Draymond killer you want him to be.

He's too slow to stay in front of Dray, he doesn't rebound well, and he's an average, at best, defender at his position. He's fine as your first big off the bench. He's not on the same planet as Dray and you're making a fool of yourself.

Well what happens when actual smart coaches play d the right way and make lebrat beat them by hesimaning his way to the bucket and scoring 40 but also yelling at and resenting his scrub teamates who are glorified spot up shooters?

ya i think that guarding the 3 pt line and opening up driving lanes for kyrie and lebron while allowing tristan and love to get inside position for orebs will work out pretty ok for the cavs too. see, thats kinda the problem. ppl are loling bud, but if he woulda let lebron go for 40+ then ppl woulda loled at him and said you cant let lebron beat you, gotta force the others to hit shots. problem is, the rest of the cavs can hit shots. at a very nice clip too.

better hope for injury bc lebron is about to cement his goat status.

Kevin Love, Kyrie Irving, and Frye were also not included in the 2015 NBA finals. And JR Smith had a truly horrendous series. Not saying he won't fraud it up again but if he can play at even his regular season rate instead of the horror show of last year it'll make a difference as well.

My casual opinion is the Cavs offense will be fine against the Woyas.

It's the defense/Curry GOATing that will be a problem.

i have no doubt they will perform much better, but i also think something can be said about how good CLE looks vs the East creating some dillsuion vs reality when they face a West powerhouse like SA or woyas. They are absolutely gunna have to keep this shooting up to have a chance.

CLE appears to be running hot af while SA and GS are underperforming (relative to the norm) and still big favorites vs CLE imo

regular season I think is undisputed, but Jordan, Lebron, etc have had some insane playoff runs.

Lebron isn't that good when you make him shoot, Vic. Spurs and Warriors can stop him just fine. It's their 3-point shooting that gives the Cavs their only chance, not lebron.
