Your first vs my first would be a tough out for my guys. Your second one vs my MJ team I think gets rolled pretty easily. I'm not really sure how you score vs MJ Lebron Kawhi on the same court. I guess just need to keep feeding Shaq, or maybe try to find whoever Curry is on. Think there'd be turnovers and fast break points galore though.

As to Kareem being dominant, he was pretty dominant in college too.

Every program in the country just sighed and said ‘what the f can you do?’.

I know that's an intentional understatement, but Lew Alcindor was the GOAT college player.

Bird, Pistol Pete, Walton in the conversation afaict. Best player I ever saw in college was Jay Williams fwiw.

Kareem was the best player in college and won the national title every year. Unquestionably the collegiate GOAT.

They outlawed dunking (LOL idiots) for a few seasons because of him.

98 all star game on espn tonight. Kobe was a lotta fun to watch. Glen rice could flat out shoot. No doubt that if the game was played back then like it is today him, mitch Richmond, reggie etc would rain 3s and would be considered in the same class. I go against the grain than most on this site but I think the more you shoot the better your percentage when it comes to 3s because of rythym, Less variance, basket gets bigger.

so it turns out Lebron's inner circle doesn't even think he is the GOAT

and Mario Chalmers also came out on the MJ side, after another former teammate DWade came out on team MJ last week.

basically what is happening is Lebron has a minority of really loud, obnoxious fans who never shut up and make it seem like there is a lot more people on the Lebron side than there really are, while MJ has the silent majority. Almost all neutral (non Lebron/MJ) fans go for MJ over Lebron.

Mikan still the most influential player ever.

Before Mikan defensive goaltending wasn't a thing and tall players were considered too slow and clumsy to be good at basketball. Vast majority of the NBA now is tall and athletic enough to goaltend shots on their way down.
