Which of those do you want to play two out of three against for all the money?

With the teams they had? 5 of the 8. Assuming we get to play all 5. I think I'd end up with 2.5 houses. Our sucked, but so did others

who's going to be our striker(s) when Dempsey is done (which could be soon)?. I can't think of anyone in the wings who can consistently score goals at a higher level. who am I forgetting about?

don't even joke about wondololwski or loltidore.

pulisic is the most obvious candidate. I'm also pretty interested to see an Altidore/Wood forward combo as well. Jozy is frustrating as hell with his is inconsistency and lack of effort sometimes, but he is capable of flashing brilliance.

Neither Dempsey nor Pulisic is a striker.

dempsey plays striker sometimes and it's pretty obvious what he means.

Wood or Altidore will start at striker at WC 2018 barring something catastrophic. Morris will make the bench.

I don't see pulisic as a striker. more of a winger, maybe attacking mid type.

You've also got Johannsson and Boyd assuming they come back from injuries.

Rubio Rubin, Maki Tall, Haji Wright, Khiry Shelton, Bradford Jamieson, Tommy Thompson

If you're thinking about him and his 16 professional goals over 5 seasons, you better also be including guys like Will Bruin.

Fwiw, of all the jobs JK has been linked to over the past few years, the England one is the first that I believe he would both take and that they are stupid enough to take him.

I'm probably the most pessimistic fan itt and I would say it's around 80%. Would you wager money at 4-1 that we aren't qualifying? I would need something like 7-1. It's such a long process that the stability our team has is a huge plus in such a weak, volatile region. Plus, if they keep the same format you only need to come 4th to get that Oceania playoff which, fair ****s to New Zealand, is practically a walk for either is or Mexico. So yeah, Ikes is not far off here.

e.g. Haiti and Jamaica were both pretty great at GC by their standards just last summer and now both are just about ****. They are in that 6-10 range in the federation. That's who we are competing against to qualify. Not Mexico. It's Costa Rica and then two of the best of the rest.

Yeah, and I don't see Honduras doing as well this cycle. Their best players are now near or past 30 except Andy Najar, who just wrecked his ACL.
