Apparently Mexico won't be calling in Euro based players for the series with NZ.

Also, after playing and beating some sort of Finland D team 4-2 the other day, Herrera had this to say.

Pedro Arellano ‏@PedroUnplugged 1h

@GrantWahl Not taking them seriously. In post-game presser Wed, Herrera said he expects Finland was tougher test than NZ will be. #Facepalm

They really are going to lose, aren't they?

Meanwhile in the land of teams that matter, Jozy gets to play Hull tomorrow. Hoping this is his breakout week.

Why would you not take your best players in a home and home for the WC against any team? Just 100% dumb.

you clearly havent watched them play during the qualifiers. all of them, with the exception of Moreno, were flat out garbage. i'm super happy that he did this. it just isnt worth getting them 3-4 days before leg 1 only to see them ruin the team. but he hasn't discarded them for leg 2.

I mean fine choose not to call people up, but blanket statement like that is silly, and will only increase the Lols if losses happen.

It's like people still think Mexico is good somewhere deep down.

They aren't.

This was mentioned in another thread but it's worth noting here too... it's pretty lol in that gif how Chicharito looks over hoping he was offsides.
