Well you said no chance CR goes 3-0 and Mexico is live for 0-3 so I figured it'd be a snap call.

You're just posting random crap in the thread, as I figured.

Yep, but that's not McKennie's fault. There's a reason they're not dominating Serie A anymore and got lol Morata up top but that shouldn't take anything away from how good McKennie has been in Serie A

Mexico's 11 has a solid attacking trio and lol midfield and defense. Over a good play possibly.

Aaronson needs more minutes. He’s got to be no worse than 4th MF. Definitely support him over Musah.

Even a draw is fine - we'll be on 21, Panama on 18. So the math becomes simple: Beat Panama @ home, we're in.
(Theoretically, Panama could still finish even with us @ 24 points, but we're currently +9 in GD to Panama's +2, so no worries)

ETA: Actually, there is at least one plausible scenario (in the case of a US-Panama draw) where we finish 1 pt behind Panama, so viva mehico

Aaronson is a winger. You mean LDLT?

The fact we can make a statement like this highlights the discussion above. Gregg has no idea what he's doing and is just clicking buttons and running USMNT like a rec soccer team where everyone has to play

we have too many wings unless Reyna is gonna play centrally somehow but we've never done that

I mean, it's not like I watch the Austrian Bundesliga, but from what I understand, Salzburg is using him as an attacking midfielder, in the 3rd line of a 4-2-2-2 formation.

that is correct, but he's a winger for us

same for Reyna

I definitely think Aaronson is more than capable of playing in a midfield 3.

Strikers: mentioned above
Wings: Pulisic, Weah, Reyna, Aaronson
Midfield: Adams, Mckennie, Musah, de la Torre, Busio, Aaronson

FB the only position we fall off a cliff

There is no reason with this depth and the depth mentioned at striker above that we should ever have to have these MLS veterans anywhere near the national team

Scally can play both LB and RB but GGG rather call in no backup

the future at LB is Gomez https://www.transfermarkt.us/jonatha...spieler/674501

Canada is fine. Their thuggery won't work outside of CONCACAF and their ceiling is pretty low with no actual tactics. They'll rely on moments of brilliance from Davies/David but a heavy dog to get out of any WC group.
