Pats brought their A-game and 1st team offense for the first drive. Once they realise the Jets were a joke they just spent the rest of the game having fun out there.

We should of won that game easily also. Geno gave them an easy 7 when he sack fumbled inside the 5.

Also when we took the lead the game should have been over. We had a blown coverage on V. Jackson that led him to gain 30 yards and get in range. Which Rex admitted he screwed up.

Now you talk about the Levonte David...It shouldnt have even gone down to that play but it happens. Folk still had to hit a 50 yarder to win so it wasnt a chip shot. Also those Penalties happen all the time but when it happens in the final seconds its talked about more. Thats football.

What im proud about is tonight, Vlad Ducasse man handled Wilfork. Looks like he is finding his game...If he turns it around we will need him. Our offensive line played great. Yea they gave up few sacks but thats on Geno holding the ball for 7+ seconds is unacceptable.

And the Jets D needs to get more credit. Everyone is talking that NE didnt have WRs but the D played great.

I agree, but they brought their B-game in terms of managing to win the game.

The Pats' first no-huddle drive was awesome and caught the Jets totally off-guard, but it wasn't sustainable.

Carroll is way too conservative on 4th down, and despite Lynch beasting, we almost certainly run too much. That said, his defensive scheming is great, and that very likely improved in his time after the Jets.

Highlight of the game was BB telling the refs he was calling timeout if they didn't remove the ejected players

I would be fairly excited as a Jets fan. Geno clearly can throw the ball well and is a good enough runner to make things happen if need be.
His pocket awareness needs to get better (those sacks were pretty much all on him) but that's something that improves with more games (clock in his head is like half a second off now).
Get better receivers (or more reps with the same receivers who knows) and Jets ceiling is reasonably high imo
Wouldn't be worried about the INT fest either, mostly a function of him thinking he has to make things happen etc...will also improve over time.

Patriots: As expected system QB gonna dump it off for the short gains and can hardly sustain a drive. To be fair that was some poor receiving. Once Gronk (and/or Amendola) comes back he'll have a second reliable receiver. Thompkins actually looks legit, Dobson more like butter fingers.
