great regular season offensive scoring team that benefitted from a soft schedule and a soft conference. another denver lol showing in the SB after the 90s run foot.

Dids and Wookie great work in this thread.

I might have missed it posted in this thread but it's interesting Peyton would not even board the jet the Seahawks sent to pick him up during free agency to come talk to Seattle.

Also the Broncos traded for Alphonso Smith when Josh McDaniels giving up there first round pick for the next season, that pick turned into Earl Thomas.

Awesome time to be a Seahawks fan, great threads lots of laughs thank you all.

just saw the pics that the stadium got snow after the game. wish it would have snowed during. i really dislike playing it in a dome or perfect weather stadium every year.

Can you point to other games this year like that where they actually had big leads and tried to bleed the clock I can point to a few where they were up big, and sat there playing pin ball vs inferior teams.
Any fueld position comment clarification on your end or just going to acknowledge that was sort of meaningless?

They bled the clock in their SD wins iirc, but not sure why exactly the Broncos should have been trying to run out the clock against inferior opponents all year

I saw so much check down football. Everyone is comparing the Baltimore Ravens to the Seattle Seahawks. I think the comparison of SB between TB OAK, and SEA and DEN is much closer. and both dominated QBs better then Kerry Collins.
I thought exactly that long before the game:

I think that game opened with OAK as ~3pt favorite, but TB won easily. I see this one coming out similarly. I hope I'm wrong though, primarily because I'd like to see a much more interesting game.
I think that more or less nailed it. Only mistake I made is not betting nearly enough.

Leave my Rams out of this. They'd have been a playoff team in just about any other division.

It's a shame they don't have fans and STL's BBQ is horrible.

I have been to Pappy's. I'd heard great things, but it turned out to be turrible. Sauces were too sweet and the meats had not the slightest resemblance of a smoke ring. The brisket tasted like ****ty baked roast beef.

Hit the nail on the head IMO. Big DBs, speedy LBs, when one goes out another guy at least physically similar to him goes in.

Okay, well you're obviously from KC. I used to get mad at my KC buddies and rants would usually end badly... something about fountains wasting energy... only poor people are proud of their BBQ... Denkinger. But then I had ribs at Jack Stacks, and I now just have to agree. You're still wrong about our pizza.

there isn't any facet of the hawks d where the term "weak" is even remotely applicable.

in the eight games since their bye, running backs went a combined 164 for 521 vs. the hawks.

Kaep had a great half rushing against the Seahawks D which Seattle responded to by rushing both Bennett and Avril from the defensive left side, trying to keep Kaep from rolling out to his right. For the most part, this was an effective tactic.

Anyway, there's nothing to suggest that Seattle is particularly vulnerable to getting gashed by mobile QBs. Kaep just played well, as he has against other defenses.
