Scott foster has been considered as a top three terrible ref in the nba for a few years now right? I feel like bobs been killing that dude for a long time. Bills dad wants credit for letting people know he was bad.

Foster was circumstantially implicated in the Donaghy scandal, but managed to beat the rap.

Quote:
The records show Donaghy placed 134 calls to referee Scott Foster — more than the 126 calls Donaghy made to his bookie — between October 2006 and April 2007, the period during which he has confessed to either betting on games or passing on game information to gamblers. The majority of the phone calls lasted no more than two minutes and occurred prior to and after games Donaghy officiated and on which he admits wagering.

i wouldnt cry too much about not having windhorst on his pod; he would just recycle the same garbage he says on mike and mike/sportscenter or wherever.

Funny you say that, I was listening to a LeBatard podcast from a week ago and they had Windy on.

After he left the texters informed Dan that Windy gave the exact same interview as with M&M earlier that day, almost verbatim answers.

Dan was not pleased. Mainly with the producers for booking him on a day where he appeared on M&M two hours before, but also w/ Windy for ngaf about it. Really intellectually lazy.

Not a huge Windy fan but what is he supposed to do there assuming questions were similar? Answering differently to the same question would be weird.

Yeah, Windhorst is pretty much the least interesting man in the world, what do you expect?

These gasbag blogs who write about the media could no be anymore worthless. Why are they pretending it's news that espn doesn't let their talent on other shows? Francesa talked about this like six years ago.

Well I posted that Dan was mainly mad at his own producers. If he'd known that Windy had been on M&M he likely would've scrapped the interview altogether.

The main point was that it was basically verbatim so when this post was made

it's just too apt to not comment on.

Windy also repetitively prefaces answers with "in all my years covering the NBA" like he's John Clayton of hoops or something. In all my years listening to radio I've heard him say it multiple multiple times. You're not fooling anyone Brian.

Legitimately thought Bill misspoke when he asked the guys what they'd do if trump offered them a job and then did a Bernie impersonation. But no, no, that was a trump impersonation.

I enjoyed it. He had a couple of young Obama communication directors who had a few good anecdotes about working with Obama and then Hillary as Secretary of State.

I think you're mixing him up with Royce Young, who is the worst and is the ESPN OKC beat writer who fellates everything they do. He writes articles about how Scott Brooks was right about not staggering and then this year when Donovan started staggering he wrote about how smart it was for Donovan to stagger. Hell talk about how good of a pickup Waiters was, and then if Waiters leaves in the summer it will be about how OKC was right about letting Waiters leave.

I dont just blame Young though. It seems like the organization-media relationship in OKC is pretty backwards.. Also across the NBA having organizational puppets as beat writers seems to be pretty common.
