so like if a 30yro guy is talking online to a chick who says shes 14 and he goes over to her house and she's obviously like 40 and he hooks up with her anyways, did he commit a crime? can any adult who feels like it attempt to entrap a guy into "attempting to solicit a minor" or do they have to be some sort of licensed decoy?

The solicitation itself is a crime

first couple seasons were ok but the nonsense where sherri palmer / high ranking cabinet officials were terrorists was just too much

the episode where the dude with the terminal disease nuked himself over the desert was pretty elite tho

So a sailor died in an America's Cup practice today, which I guess means it's this year. I really dig this spectacle, and in fact had made it my goal to attend in San Francisco before life changed and all. I guess it starts on the 4th of July and the finals on September 7th.

Hopefully the boats don't keep flipping over.

I just watched For What It's Worth a couple of days ago and thought it was great. The whole thing is on youtube. Watching some other stuff after that is kind of weird since he clearly adopted a slightly different voice, mannerisms, etc.

Speaking of structured experiment, Any suggestions?

I'm thinking:
1. Log my BAC (blood alcohol content) after very drink.
2. Log how much alcohol consumed (to water/ice ratio)
3. How I feel
4. How others around me perceive me (control)
5. Maybe do the "walk a straight line test" (?)

(note: I have to wait 5 mins after each drink to conduct the test)

What else? Might as well have fun with this and get something productive out of it.
