Are you asking questions just to ask them? Because none of those can be answered at this point as far as I can tell.

no. I am asking questions because people on 2p2 usually have way more info than I do from reading different things or watching interviews with people privy to the facts. I wondered if anyone knew that stuff at this point.

I did read that someone (I believe the mayor) said her mom "died of a broken heart." It seems that the psychic's threshhold for reasonable certainty is met by that. I wonder if she's willing to stand trial for murder 1.

In the 911 call how did she know she was in the news for 10 years? Most disappearances don't garner that much media attention for that long so did she have access to media while captured? Have their identities been confirmed by DNA or anything yet or is there no need for that in a case like this?
Trying not to come off as joking about this; perhaps they were occaisionally given access to tv and newspapers.

In a Law & Order SVU episode with eerily similar crime, they perp's motivation was total psychological ownership such that he could even take her around town with him and she wouldn't flee. Started out by letting her out of the dungeon every now and then to do some normal house stuff.

Isn't this kinda what happened with Elizabeth Smart or one of the other ones? L&O usually based off real events.

No, she can't be charged for murder at all.

I'd assume psychics can't even be sued for fraud because they must have customers sign off. Also, this was a TV show, so I'm about 99.99999999% sure that liability was signed off on.

A, B, C are the locations where all three were last seen possibly kidnapped. D is the location from the inmate and E is the house. Seems like a pretty lucky guess to pick that location.

interesting. I would think that they wouldn't allow them access to media or want them thinking people on the outside still cared/thought about them, but thats all uninformed speculation on my part.

Lol, I'm pretty sure an episode of 'Get Smart' doesn't count as "real events" dude!

I'm not sure if I am missing Holliday's joke, but yes Karak, I think Elizabeth Smart was held for a long time like a mile from her house or something. davechappelle.youtube

Probably should post a heads-up as a public service:

Wife is getting MRI now, so my anxiety levels are likely to cause some erratic behavior for the rest of the day. I'm at work and they'll be giving her a CD to take to neurosurgeon to review on Friday. More nervous about her peeking at the results than about the actual results--although am quite nervous about that as well.

She's promissed not to look until I get home, but can be quite impulsive now. Even if she waits, it's going to be a tense evening, I can feel it.
