Solid point LL. I just think especially for game threads, it would be cool to watch the game, keep an ipad open and see the instant reactions streaming. Might be in the minority though.
Costco is soooo great, but they don't seem to have them in the Midwest . I just can't move back to Cali soon enough.

55 inch smart LED for $830...pretty crazy how much this market landscape changes over just a few years.
Looks like they have a 70" for $1,700...probably a bit less without the "smart" part. That could be nice. In fact...if I got that now it'd just be the manchild indulging himself again, then if wife suffers additional visual impairment from radiation treatment (likely, unfortunately) she won't feel guilty about the spending nor self-conscious about it.
Probably need a bit of an excuse, though. Any big sports spectacles coming up? Americas Cup would be perfect, or maybe a big precursor to the Tour de France?
I haven't changed this thread's title in months, maybe years. Closest I came was almost changing "Boston Mourning" to "Alonzo Mourning" a couple of days after the bombing but didn't want to deal with the inevitable indignant outrage.

Thanks for the kind sentiment though...
Lol at bold. Would have been so wrong if this happened. lol
noob, you gotta pay using coupons and get an elite stockpile in your garage
So he claims there's $50k-$75k worth of stuff in there that he only paid $1000 for.
But he has 50x what a normal person could use. So basically, he wasted a whole bunch of time, and used up his entire garage, when he could have just spent that $1k on a normal amount of stuff and still have all that space/time. That's -EV and the very opposite of impressive.

I think it's the opposite. I don't care to watch it b/c I don't think it's a big deal that he's gay. It's brave and all, but I really don't care about player's personal lives unless it's stuff like Tiger's collapse or Kobe butt-raping, etc. It's pretty immature to have a problem with it imo.
Idk if they shrink... It's the cut of the shirt. I have 1 that a friend left at my house that I started wearing and it is the best t-shirt ever. I basically just wanted to buy like 10 in a bunch of colors.
dunno how many I have exactly, between 15-20, that's how I do it with the Nike dri-fit tshirts. probably 8 or so white ones and then every color except the bright rave-lookin' ones.
I'll never buy another type of plain tshirt again, cotton sucks in the summer..
I've watched a few of those extreme couponing shows. It seems like a lot of effort for basically a minimum wage job. Not only that, but how would he ever realize much of that 50-75k?

don't feel like googling, what's a 'smart tv' do? obv Internet is on it?
I think if you extreme coupon you should have to use a different metric for calculating cost than the highest possible price to the end consumer.
Sometimes chicken is .99/lb, they can't just act like they had a coupon to save on 4.99/lb chicken, which from brief channel surfing, it def seems like they do to get the wow factor.

I don't 'have a problem with it', I'm just tuned in to espn for sports not whether or not the world is ready for gay athletes.
