Sorry for the delay. I'm adding depth to my defense with a guy I'm really surprised slipped through this far.

Sébastien Squillaci, CB

(apparently I'm a Sevilla fan too)

Bookies would have lost a lot of dough laying odds on another team having more Sevilla players than mine after 11 rounds.

Has a PM been sent to Disturbance?

I'm ready to pick.

Also, do we start doing double selections in round 12?

10 subs are too many I’m already starting to run out of names.

If were double picking subs it should go reverse snake at that point.
The people at the bottom of the draft have been at a disadvantage throughout they will only be more heavily penalised by double picking.

agree with both points.

what about 8 subs and i think reverse snake is fine for this
08-11-2009 , 10:33 AM
+1 for 8 subs + reverse snake
08-11-2009 , 10:49 AM
lets keep it at 6 for the moment, if once we're done people still feel like they have enough names left, we can make it 8.
08-11-2009 , 10:55 AM
Nah that won't work. You have to make choices in selecting the players you want based on how many rounds are left/which players will be left.
08-11-2009 , 11:11 AM
6 subs is ridiculous
08-11-2009 , 11:17 AM
im sure everyone can come up with an extra couple of names towards the end, these players obv are not that important in deciding who has the best squad but will be important for the sim to stop made up players creeping in everynow and then
08-11-2009 , 11:25 AM
there are soooooo many good players left

If I chose 11 players now that team would have a very good chance of winning the bundesliga

yeah cashy is right, tons of talent left
let's go eight subs.

however the number of goalkeepers has to be decided beforehand (I guess two)

Round 11 Pick 245

Tiago Mendes

I'm not sure that Pandev will be able to fill the role I want him to so I wanted more creative options in midfield. This from Tiago's wiki swung it obviously:

The start of the Serie A 2008-09 season gave Tiago an opportunity to return to the Premier League in the form of year long loan offer from Everton. Juventus agreed to the deal but Tiago refused their terms, favouring to stay in Italy instead.[8] The negotiations between the player and the club had a violent end when Tiago forcibly locked Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli inside a toilet stall. Cobolli Gigli was finally rescued by Alessandro Del Piero more than an hour later.

PM sent

omg never heard that story. Epic

I pick Joe Cole, who should be returning from ACL surgery later this month and for purposes of our draft would at least make a great super-sub. He also gives me the flexibility to play a more orthodox formation with flank attackers if necessary.

Writeup to follow, PM sent.

So Fritz is worse than any RB that Man U ran out in the last 2 years when they won nearly everything? Gary Neville, Rafael > Fritz? Doubt it.

Would have been a round 2-5 pick a couple seasons ago. Hope he comes back strong this season.
