Bebe has been loaned to Besiktas apparently. Makes sense I guess with all the other Portuguese players there.

If it's true hopefully next year Muhammed Demirci will have broken into Besiktas' first team so I can scout him while checking out Bebe's progress (or lack thereof).

lille pres or director or something like that saying they turned down a 12m bid for gervinho from us. pretty surprised. also a little rumour flying around spurs sites that inter are interested in vdv and we are at least listening. they can **** off though.

makes sense on one hand, but on the other it could be to link them up together since they are buds and play together a lot for their country. i don't really believe that rumor too much though.

lille are obviously taking us for a ride. just announcing to the world they got a bid so arse or whoever comes in for 15 or more.

Tbh I can't see why anyone would pay over £10m for Jones and even that's steep. He's barely played a full season and has virtually no U21 experience. Has he honestly looked that good? Not been that great when I've watched him. The fee also seems very high when you consider as an example Nedum Onuoha will probably go for about £3m this summer

Ofcourse, but its simple supply and demand. I'm sure Nedam would be demanding a ridiculous fee if Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spuds were all wanted to sign him too.

Seriously makes the signings like Hernandez, Ramsey, hell even Rooney's fee look like Bargains.

Some reports are saying that both Chelsea and United refused to match Sneijder's salary at Inter and that's why he came out with the statement today that he is happy and staying.

He's reported to be on €7m NET per year at Inter.
