Seriously, I am from Brazil and i see lucas play every fixture, he is good but he is no genious. I honestly don't think he is worth what ManU is offering.

That theory might make a tiny bit of sense if we weren't dealing with clubs that have access to bottomless pits of money. Making City/Chelsea pay 4-5 million does nothing positive for United, unless you believe FFP will actually be strictly enforced, which no on seems to believe it will.

I think it was Tim Vickery that compared him to Walcott, would you say that's a somewhat accurate comparison?

Yeah i'd agree with that. But i think Lucas is more of a side attacker and Walcott more of a winger. But its close...Lucas is extremely fast, dribbles well, has a decent finish and a mediocre pass.

Chelsea are good in terms of FFP.

I wasn't saying they weren't, just pointing out why your theory makes no sense.

He is doing his best, however futile, to make us ungood. Every million helps.

I understand it in the context of FPP. The point is even if FPP was applied (e.g. our spending could not be bottomless), Chelsea from all reports I have read is still in good shape.

PSG is the greatest thing to happen to Chelsea/Man City.

Yup, that's exactly right. After all his whining and complaining about financial doping in the english game wrt Chelsea/City, when PSG became oil/gas rich Platini said it was great for french football.

it's not so much as us offering it. It's much more the number being reported. I have a hard time imaging sao paolo not accepting some of the figures reported for him. Nevermind those totals are completely out of our character

Platini's son is apparently working for QSI (the investment fund that owns PSG)

Is there any truth in this Rooney to PSG thing or does he just want another pay rise?

Training should be exciting at Fleetwood Town this week then.

Four promotions in six years for Fleetwood Town that's pretty impressive. Joey might still have a place at QPR though.

Their attendances over the last few:

2010–11: 1,753
2009–10: 1,355

2007–08: 721
2006–07: 537
2005–06: 466
2004–05: 206
2003–04: 134

The Guardian with Cazorla being close to Arsenal.

Also Sky Italia reporting Juve have upped their bid to £17m for RVP. I'd take that. If we could get in Cazorla for 2m less then we're selling RVP for in the next week that would lessen the blow to non existent levels.
