Everyone gonna die apart from Todd and that intense chick. They will hook up and continue the business while landing all the barrels. Pretty much a cert.

I also heard that in real life people are now making blue meth cause of this show.

In before law suits irl.
i wouldn't picture your average meth user as a breaking bad fan but what do i know?

would make a pretty good ending if he went to go after the Nazis kills them, sees jesse the way is, has a change a heart, lets him go to live, and then Jesse kills him.....

I watched the episode just because of the review. Totally lived up to expectations. I was running out of fingers on which to count the remarkably stupid scenes, inane voiceovers, character motivations that made no sense, etc.

That reminds me, one of the stupid scenes in the Dexter finale was a guy letting his own tongue get cut out without offering any resistance whatsoever

Yeah, according to Gretchen, he took off without explanation or warning at some weekend with her family, and then left the company. Walt has since spun the story that Gretchen and Elliott forced him out. (Of course, we also know he subsequently had a job with Sandia Laboratories, and was eventually forced out of there, too, probably for something else to do with his pride and demand that others pay tribute to his greatness.)

I hope we find out what really happened, but to me Gretchen's version of events totally fits with who Walt is. He's a man driven by an enormous ego who flips out at any perceived slight to it. He'd rather burn all his bridges and wallow in self-pity than just get over it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Walt does go after Gretchen and Elliott. He has absolutely nothing to lose now and is only driven by his mammoth ego and pride. He certainly doesn't have anything to lose by publicly gunning them down as retribution for denying him the recognition he craves.

Blue meth obviously not just a random throw in but I don't think that was intended as the catalyst for his return.

Grey matter could be just a trigger. But I'd guess that won't be the last scene with those two.

I consider nath the SME on BB so I'm glad that he thinks the Blacks may be a target and not just a red herring. The series is rife with examples of Walt getting super pissed when not given proper credit, or when others try to ride his coattails. Here he sees those two distance themselves from him and give him only (partial) responsibility for the company's name...at which point he undoes his surrender.

He was made aware of the blue meth's reappearance when he was back at the cabin (iirc) yet he turned himself in after that, thus that shouldn't logically be the catalyst for his Revenge Tour. Plus this is a chance for VG to close the loop on something from the first season, and we already know how much he loves tying things together.

i think the implication Walt's pride/ego/dickishness caused him to bolt from that whole thing, but in his mind made himself a victim somehow

can't seem to find that scene with him and Gretchen anymore, but i'm sure it's in there
I always kind of assumed Walter Jr was on the way and he needed $$$ now and couldn't work for a startup that might not take off right away

No way. Walt was still with Gretchen when he left Grey Matter. Skyler wasn't even in the picture, let alone Walt Jr.

I found it kind of ridiculous that Charlie Rose would ask them about the BLUE METH being in Europe like any of them, including Charlie, would have any clue about that.

DEA agents die on the Mexican border from time to time. Drug kingpins get caught or get away from time to time. Never is it national news that anyone cares about.'

Definitely a minor nitpick but there's so many thousands of easily nitpickable stuff that show isn't GOAT. Very excited for the finale though as I think it will be awesome. I can't decide what I'm rooting for. I've always had a soft spot for Jesse but then wanted him to get got after the snitching. Now I'm kind of rooting for him again.

TODD is pretty much the goat and will kidnap and rape Lydia and become the kingpin.
