Snyder claims Auburn stealing signals again

Came to post the same thing, maybe the secret to Malzhan's success is just Patriots type spygate signal stealing.

Synder is a super respected coach, he's not like a Dabo windbag, he wouldn't be dropped such accusations unless he 100% believed it was happening.

Bielema accused them of it after this years Ark-Auburn game. So that is 3 coaches in the last 4 games Auburn has played.

My take is that everyone should be trying to steal signs. As long as that is all it involves. Arkansas found someone trying to film practice the week before the Ark-Auburn game and that is way over the line.

As long as binoculars, cameras, radios, or other shady aids aren't being used I'm 100% okay with stealing signs especially if it's being able to figure out the flash cards being prominently displayed on the sideline.

The Patriots using cameras they weren't supposed to have to record and analyze signals is the very definition of dirty shady behavior deserving of massive penalties.

Filming another team's practice is also completely unacceptable.

Yeah, signal stealing seems smart to me. You think coaches would be smart enough to hide their signals. It seems the old guard of coaching just sort of frowns upon stealing them even though it's +EV to do so.

The Arkansas practice field is in a valley with a parking lot in the distance elevated up above it. They found someone filming from their car. I need to be clear, there was never an insinuation that it was an Auburn person, but it did happen the week before the Auburn game. It could have just been a fan. But, they send GA's to sweep that lot every day to make sure no one is watching.

I looked up the Bielema quotes from after the Auburn game. My mistake. He made a comment about Auburn knowing what we were doing and a media member made it out to be the he was accusing Auburn of knowing our plays. It was taken out of context and not at all what he was trying to say.

Seems pretty easy to set up a hidden camera inside a vehicle to film their practices, turn the camera on, leave the area, and come back later to drive off after practice. They need to find a new practice site.

They have an indoor, two practice fields, and the stadium all connected. Petrino would go in the indoor or stadium when they did game stuff. I'm not sure what Bielema does. There is just a small area of the lot where you can see the practice field so it is pretty easy to spot something out of place.

That was a plot from CSI Miami! Except...it was a gun. And a wedding. And the gun was attached to the bottom of the car.

I'm vaguely recalling Georgia switching to all-closed practices some years ago because of filming and they actually named fan-sites as the main culprit. Evidently they'd go to the sites and see that day's practice. Pretty sure these were Georgia fans too.

Think it would be the responsibility of the assistant coaches to hide hand signals or other types of play signals right? Lol at accusing Gus malzhan with stealing signals. What proof does the old man have? Auburn doesn't care if teams see their big ass play cards. I don't see Gus accusing anyone of stealing his, especially with auburn basically broadcasting their play cards for the world to see.

Sounds like sour grapes or something. K state lost that game. They had so many chances to win yet they blew it. Simple as that. I would think that Synder would be above saying something like this but I guess not.
