oh jeez, it's always policy, policy, policy with you.

Other than Al Gore, what American politician has accomplished more than Kerry wrt the environment? And Vietnam, really?

What do his past policy and military service have to do with climate change? What is your solution to this, hire a bunch of staff with zero negotiating experience and zero actual success enacting environmental policy take the reigns on climate change?

considering where we are at in terms of climate change and the adjustments that we have made over the last 20 years, I would say that Kerry (and really everyone) has been a complete failure at it

Meh, ok, so they did what they said they were going to do and put qualified people in a position to create policy and drive change, so what? It's not like anything will really come of it anyway. And even if some things do come of it, it's not like it will be enough.

LOL @ people thinking progress is progress.

The relief bill is supposedly dead in the Senate anyway - not sure it matters what's in it.

Lol that train is never late.

Nothing will ever happen. And if it does happen, it won't actually accomplish anything. And if it does accomplish anything, it's not enough. And if it is enough...**** you I was right all along.

Its really not hard to understand when you look at things from a standpoint of policies that could help the overall citizenry rather than a team sport.
so AOC got suckered into joining Joe's team? yhtsi

Lol goddamn you're desperate. This is what change looks like. People with progressive views getting seats at the table.

It's not going to be guillotines in the park 99.99% of the time. It's way more boring, but it's the only thing that has any chance to work.

prediction:

- a bunch of watered-down recommendations
- like 85% of them are rejected outright
- the remaining 15% are watered-down even further
- progressives argue that this sucks ****
- centrist dolts are like wow you're just impossible to please smh
- like none of it is advanced even if creepy joe does win
- he probably doesn't

What the **** does this even mean?

This kind of thing hasn't happened on this scale before. Progressives can't win an election on their own, but this is the largest portion of power they've ever had in modern politics.

I can see why this pisses the far left off, it totally waters down their ability to complain on the internet while sitting at home doing nothing about it.

It's been a failure, but I wouldn't put that at the feet of Kerry. The guy you don't seem to be worried about stopping is the one who put the kybosh on Paris, which is why I think it's baseless to put it on JK after voicing your refusal to help oust 45.

Newsflash...neither can Corporate Republican-Lite 1st stage Dementia, p**** grabbin, creepy as **** Democratic candidates...

i mean that just says it all right...pander to the .0003% of the Republican base that hates Drumph i.e. Justin Amash and some of his extended family. Yet you have about 30-35% of the base on the left where all you can do is throw up the middle finger then expect us to bend the knee for nothing in return...oh but those Task Forces though.

Meanwhile Cuomo enjoying the best approval rate he'll ever have in his life is somehow maintaining said approval rating while cutting Medicaid by 6 billion...during a ****ing pandemic of which a third of everything Coronavirus related is in the state of NY...progress!

I'm not the one comparing Biden to the failure of 2016. The two aren't even remotely the same fwiw.

this is the other thing about all of this

dems could run on literally anything they wanted, and as long as cnn & msnbc were on board, it'd have like 80-90% approval
(like the gop & foxnews)

so maybe they should adopt some of these massively popular policies like m4a, gnd, and legal weed?
nah, water them down into mush that doesn't work for anyone
