I think Rubio and his childish behavior may have taken himself and Trump out. Cruz and Kasich may have a nice battle on the floor of the Republican convention for the nomination. What's the odds on Kasich?

Trump vs Hillary would be hilarious though because it's inevitable that Trump mentions that Hillary knows for a fact just how big he is, right? You think he wrote her those four checks and didn't get something back? He already said Romney would have gone on his knees for him if he'd asked.

No of course not, which is why I mentioned it. I try to be fair and not blame everything on W and crew. But he wasn't the starring role.

A small system based on tech from 2010-2020 to stop one or a handful of missiles from a rogue nation like North Korea or Iran isn't impossible like the ludicrous idea that 1980's tech could somehow create a system to stop a full Soviet apocalypse launch.

Trump had a bunch of lol moments but I thought he acquitted himself well twice:

- talking about his immigration policy, when he said 'the of course I'm open to negotiating that's what reasonable people do...not like ted cruz who stood on the floor for 36 hours and accomplished nothing'

- when the gotcha videos came about him changing his policies he said 'yeah look I'm allowed to change my mind'. Too many people get on politicians for this.

Cruz had the worst line of the night when he pledged to rebuild our military so it's the strongest in the world. Err who exactly has passed us?

Lost in all the lolz of last night are a couple really important things.

Donald Trump was offered the chance to back away from his previous statement to torture and/or kill the families of terrorists when asked how he would handle the military refusing to follow what would be illegal orders by him. And instead of backing away he doubled down and responded "They won't refuse me." Nevermind how scary that soundbite is in and of itself, you need to understand that were he to follow through on this plan he would be tried in International Court as a war criminal.

On top of this, he took another opportunity to spread a completely made up story designed solely to stir up anti-Islamic hatred. This is a pattern that he has followed throughout his campaign of spreading false information for the sole purpose of spreading racist, xenophobic or islamophobic sentiments. And before anyone says well all politicians lie, this is not your typical political lie. This is pure hate-mongering.

So if you're a Trump supporter at this point, the most charitable argument anyone can make for you is that you're just in it for the lolz, and if that's the case I would hope you'd stop to take a look at what you're actually supporting and either stay home or vote for any other candidate. Outside of that, you need to come to terms with the fact that you are actively supporting a hate-mongerer who has made promises to commit war crimes, and when given the opportunity to back off those claims doubled down on them instead.

I'll take an open hate monger over what the establishment is peddling any day of the week.

Americans, ignorant and foolish as we are, have a deep sense of fair play ingrained from a young age. It's become eminently clear that the establishment is not treating Trump fairly. They're acting like cornered animals, squealing and lashing out because they can feel their livelihood threatened. They might succeed in stealing the nomination from Trump, but they will have lost all credibility in the process. For that reason, even if Trump's journey ends here, he's done more good than any politician in years.

Nope. Even this falls apart when you realize the other choice is war monger criminal Hillary. It's either Bernie, Trump, or don't vote.

I'm not an establishment guy, but if the establishment can keep a hate-mongering war criminal from coming to power then that is a worthy cause for them to take up.

Republicans have been trying to do this for 20 years, but alas it looks like her time is coming.

This is an irresponsible statement. Hillary absolutely is hawkish and is not my ideal candidate whatsoever, but they're not even in the same league with regards to what we're talking about here.

We want to live in a world where Bernie would win(though his effect would be bad), and we don't want to live in a world where Trump would win(but his effect could be positive), but Bernie has no clue about the economy and no chance of winning, so it's either Trump or the SuperEstablishment Clintons, and it's time we end this joke of the political class, even if it ends up with 4 years of a mad Trump that changes the parties for the better.

Kasich has established himself as the big sleeper candidate for winning via brokered convention and I think that would be fantastic, presuming Trump doesn't then go independent which I don't think he would. Trump and Kasich are really the only people that can beat Hillary IMO
