In this format it's pretty bad but in a "traditional format" where you are stuck with the same partner all the way through and you don't have to get skulls then Ashley seems like a good partner for the final.

CT has mentioned over and over that he ****ed up in not taking Kam, but it's not like they wouldn't have been split up anyhow. When he asked her "Why should we pair up?" in ep1, all she could do was spout off her own nickname that she gave herself like a ****ing dolt, I'm sure that gave him a bit of pause.

that was probably the best moment of the season, that cracked me up

still though, he should've had some idea the power she would have in the game although I guess it is true these rules are a bit too janky, you can't even really strategize with partners

I am somewhat surprised at the political hold she has had on the game. I guess her original partnership with Josh entrenched her with the Big Brother people.

Coming into the season, I would not have predicted Kam to be well connected. The two main groups in the house were Big Brother people and the Young Bucks. She doesnt have any apparent connection to those groups until after the original partner picks. Again i think her going with Josh and Leroy going with Kaycee is what gave them the numbers to dominate the game.

Has Kam ever run a final before? Feel like you don't really know what people are made of until they get there and prove it.

Perhaps until last week. Not sure it tops Josh's legendary display of ineptitude in the elim, to everyone's delight.

Kam probably does well because she has such a strong personality that people tend to line up with her out of self-interest. Particularly as there are a lot of rookies who are looking to stay out of the line of fire. Sort of what JOHN did for many seasons until people finally figured out that being his lackey never ended well for them.

Watching Gauntlet III now. I think, it's the Gauntlet with some vague logo. Set in Puerto Vallarta. These seasons are so long ago that I don't remember how most of them end so it's like watching them for the first time again.

Anyway, it's comical how pathetic the "rookies" team is (people who have only done one challenge are on this team as well). I don't know who any of these people are either, aside from Frank and MJ from their seasons, and Melinda vaguely. Their team IS loaded with women I like looking at though, as opposed to the bitchfaced smoke cigs and don't eat likes of Beth, Katie, and Coral on the veteran team. Casey is now a vet and not bad looking, but she's so worthless I would just prefer she not be there.

I remember that Easy gassed out on one of the finals. Maybe this is the one and the rookies end up stealing it. So far they're like 2-6, and the only ones they won was a challenge where they had a distinct advantage with fewer players, and one where the vets threw it on purpose to get one of the worthless women off their team.

And I really hope the trivia this week is actual trivia, not "who did Cory hook up with in WOW2" or whatever. Questions where someone thinks the correct answer might be "Dutch".

she ran the finals in vendettas and war of the worlds 2 and neither went all too well for her

she made a moronic move in the vendettas final which cost her any chance to win and the other final was a complete disaster for her team

seems like she's gotten flustered in the final and judging by who she could pair up with, assuming she doesnt partner with leroy and is successful in preventing CT from getting a skull, chances are she gets someone who sucks at puzzles like fessy, kyle, darrell, or cory if the latter two steal from josh and devin

Also trivia where you control your own fate instead of letting people get a question right then give a strike to anyone they want.

Too many daily challenges this season have been about people deciding who to eliminate then seeing who is left over.

Everyone is that house is petrified of Theresa it’s amazing to watch

yeah I have no idea when she became anything other than just an average competitor. But girls like the ambers and gabby are just there to hang out with zero intention of winning.

I knew theresa was losing when I saw that red dress she had on in confessionals. Big believer in the theory that girls always look their best in their last episode. The editing tried to make it look tight but I dont think she even moved a foot closer to her pole.

Theresa looks like my wife.

Interested in seeing Kam go for endurance, and interested in seeing Gabby do anything. Feel like Kaycee is a not significant but still clear favorite to win among the women.

Can't imagine getting to this point in the game without a skull and not throwing yourself in. Talking Amber B here obv... I wonder what kind of influence she had on Theresa going in and if she could have finagled her way in to having someone else in if she's so scared of Theresa, but the point remains. There's got to be some point where it's just ****ing time to go, regardless of who it's against because you'r not going to get another chance.

Man the level of strategy on this season is reaching an all time low.

There's a big problem the Challenge has going on right now, which is that people know what they're supposed to say regardless if it makes any sense or not. Like people always say "You crossed me so I'm gonna make sure you get yours" regardless if the person making the thread has any power to make anything happen. So even in person to person conversations you end up with people just spouting dumb platitudes back and forth.

Like why are we accepting at face value that Amber B can seriously talk about running a final and who she wants to run against? Why don't people just laugh in her face and say "lol your skinnyfat ass is never winning a final even if it's against Aneesa and 3 clones of Aneesa"
