ABE is such a huge net positive to the season. high quality stuff.

Cohutta and Jill got 12.5 each(25 total) for winning the first challenge, in fact they also survived, and then lost a dome, for a grand total of 25+5-10 = 20. (And cara maria's team has 25+5+5 = 35, every team that only got survival points has 10)

The net of each team challenge(assuming it reamins like this format until the end), is +20 points(25 for a win minus 5 for a loss). However the first team challenge had 24 people(12 on each team), so those 20 points are divided by 12, so +1.67 for every pair of bloodlines that competed. This will go on until f4.

Assuming no people quitting or getting kicked off. we will have team challenges until f3 that have teams of size

12,10,9,8,7,6,5,4, so the final 4 will each net +5 points in the last challenge. In fact any team that makes it to the finals, will have won 23.57 points from large team challenges. 5 an ep from beginning (estimated 10 eps), for 50 points(this being over double the challenge points should show why its bad). Plus 10 points per duel.

so 73.57 + 10 per duel. They will be guaranteed 15 for 3rd, 50 for second and 100 for first.

All non cara scores will look like:

1st: 73.57 + 100 + 10 per duel = 173.57+10 per duel
2nd: 73.57 + 50 + 10 per duel = 123.57+10 per duel
3rd: 73.57 + 15 + 10 per duel = 98.57+10 per duel

So obviously its extremely unlikely the person to have the winning team loses.

But also look at the fact that Cara Maria's team has 35 points through the first 2 eps. She guaranteed 98.57 for making the finals, + a min of 15.


If johnny/Vince go out in 4th(they will lose 10 for a duel), they will have 9x5 for survival = 45 points + 18.57 points for challenges -10(for duel loss) = 53.57 + any duel wins. CARA MARIA had 35 in first two eps(they currently have something like 63).


There are other insanely stupid scenarios that will happen(dont get me started on how many points jenna and briana have).

The only score that is really closer is onlydo2 and that's because the new system over favors the first 2 eps which his teams won both challenges.

In mine onlydo2 would be like 4th in points, with the relative points between the rest of the teams are the same as jmurder

and now I'm getting doubled up by onlydo when we both only have one team and my team won a dome. whatever

we aren't changing the system. we are implementing the system we had correctly.

we don't know if teams will re-form for the finals. If they don't then you end up with teams that have 1 member of different bloodlines and then lots of teams are live. Additionally, if Cara and her bloodline do make the final as one team and don't finish they are now in pretty bad shape as the -25 hurts more on the lower scores in this system.
