the format for this episode was A+. You could do seasons upon seasons using this type of method for picking teams, running a challenge, determining losers, and setting up an elimination.

re: the elimination. I actually thought it was going to be an elimination where it could be a guy vs. a girl if that's what it settled on which could've indicated some sort of puzzle or straight stamina/memory elimination that doesn't require much actual physical output.

melissa was just clueless at picking teams especially for her. i think the eating challenges were a little too short. obviously there was a huge chance that everyone wouldn't have finished which seems stupid.

I was impressed by Brad's restraint. that challenge was terrible. it's like they didnt expect everyone to lose so quickly. and they just adjusted on the fly.

"oh there are two teams left, now it's an eat-off"

waste of trivia.

Zach and Leroy also talked about Brad too when in their room. They said he was going through a mid-life crisis and is getting to regret a lot of what he is doing.

I took that as they were referring to the fact he has a 6 year old, that is not too far off from his friends/classmates watching MTV age-wise. So in a few years he's gonna be in class (because he is Brad's son, not a real celeb who has kids in private school) and they're gonna be talking about his dad ****ing 25 year olds on MTV and all kinds of other stuff that happens on The Challenge.

Seems like a new problem for a Challenger at the very least.

I would have structured trivia as "last player to finish food gets eliminated along with the rest of their team" and had one elimination per question. Not timed.

he is the only one that was smart enough to use the strategy of "buzz in first, think after" which is pretty elementary if the question is going to be somewhat straightforward.

how the **** was Portugal in the discussion for capital of Spain though?

This would have been miles better than the time thing. Seemed out of place that so many teams were eliminated that quickly. Unless 15 minutes had passed or something substantial, and there was no chance anyone would finish the cheese anyways.

Tony was amazing during the eating, but I did feel really bad for him when the worst boyfriend in the house question came up. He said "I am a changed man" with a bit of a crack in his voice and his eyes welled up a little. Once he was confirmed as voted to be worst boyfriend, he said f all these people, I am going to crush a 3rd round of eating, and crush it he did. I am rooting for him to go far this season.

pretty sure that was understood by those who watched the episode.

actually tony is the only guy who finished it. i don't think the intention of each round was to eliminate all but 1 team. i think the creators expected it to eliminate a team or two each round but they were wrong.
